Hi moo- hope today was better for you! I can't bug my husband about the pool. He is working lots of overtime- he got called in early again tonight.

MommyP- how was the beach? sounds like you have a really busy weekend ahead- be sure and get some rest!

Nab-my husband does have a lot of hair. He always tells the girls that he didn't have any gray until they were born and that is kind of the truth:) Premature gray/white hair runs in his family- our oldest has had some white hairs since she was about 3.

Hi Pumba! sounds like you had normal food tonight! Can't imagine eating a squirrel

Poly - The beach was nice. It's super hot and the water was a steamy 88, but it was a fun day. I love sitting at the beach watching the kids play.

Wow the Gemini's are coming out tonight.

You are a sweet Gemini Pumba!!!!

Poly -- what will you do with all that extra money.....:lmao:

I'm heading to bed. Chad's out talking to his crazy Step-Mom. She took some of her Dad's ashes to the beach tonight and put them in the water. lol. I told her we'd bail her out if she got arrested. ;)

Anyhoo, there was a dead catfish in the water near her and it must have been a "sign" or something, she's freaked now. So he's talking to her. I'm going to put something on TV and go to bed. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO tired!

Night Mommy P!!!!

Get some rest. Or maybe a snack too....

Hi Moovers.

Just a quick drive to stop in and say Howdy. i'm at grandma's so I need to visit with her for a bit.

hope everybody is doing well.:goodvibes

p.s. I'll take some banana bread. sounds great!

Marita must be swamped with work tonight.

Hopefully she will be able to relax on the weekend.

Babynurse -- I wish my mom would get a computer and internet. She thinks it would be to hard.

Hey, I'm here finally. Long day! Just finished dinner. Not as stressful as the last few days, but still enough. Tomorrow is the last day, for a while at least. My goal is to be done and out of the office by 4pm, cross your fingers and toes please.
Part of the problem is A) lacking directions, B) changing directions C) no directions followed by last minute directions.....
Not to mention the "we will provide you with numbers" and nothing so far, and it's due tomorrow. So we have to scramble tomorrow, as we have to run everything though this system.
SCREAMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!

Anywho, I am going to just coast a bit here for now. No time to read back right now

He wasn't an ex. , no divorce.

Anyway didn't you call me an air head.....:lmao:

I know you are a sweetie too. And funny, and pretty, and skinny, should I go on....

MommyP, that sounds like a fantastic day. To me, any day at the beach is better than a day practically anywhere else (except for at Disney) :rotfl2: The water temp is MUCH warmer than Lake Michigan (63 degrees last Saturday). I will be at the Outer Banks of North Carolina two weeks from today :yay: :yay:

DH was talking with DD about replacing her car tonight. She is interested in a vehicle that was involved in an accident and we are leery of that She didn't like the car that we showed her the picture of ad test drove - she wants a Honda Civic. So, her daddy told her not to jump at the first possible car and to check the dealerships down there if her car will hang in there for the next couple weeks. Should be interesting

Cel, we are definitely going in September. My DH will be going to the space center at least one of the days we're down there. He asked me if there is a shuttle bus that goes over to the coast from WDW, but I don't think there is. I told him I figured we'd have to rent a car for at least part of the week. I'll send him on his field trip on one of the days we have a bunch of meet stuff going on that he won't be interested in participating in ;)

My little sis is a Gemini - she is a sweetie.

poly, I'l bet we can ALL guess what you'll be doing with that OT $$$!

Glad you're here, Marita - looks like you need this as much as I did last night! :grouphug:

Hi, BabyCowGirlNurse :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Sorry Nab. No offense meant, I swear!

Marita - We love you! DVC sucks!

moo - yay! As time gets closer, we'll finalize plans (again!).
I have to wait and see exactly how long Crystal and Mike will be there with the kids.

We'll have Jeanie there the whole time.

So I need some advice:
(This is for everyone)
She will be two at the time and I've never seen her be scared of anything, but I don't take her to scary things usually.
She loved a spinning ride at the carnival (like the teacups)
What rides will be off limits for her?
I don't mean height requirements, I know those already.
I know a bug's life is DEFINITELY out. I think parents take their kids to that for torture!
I'm waivering on Pirates and Haunted Mansion
I probably won't do snow white cuz it's weird to me, but the rest of fantasyland seems pretty harmless.
I'd like to try Philharmagic and see how she does. Then try Muppets. But Honey I shrunk the audience is a no.

Moo, there is no shuttle to the space center from Disney.
They just opened a new ride there, like mission space only different. Like going up in the shuttle.

My post got swallowed by the last page I think.

I told DH I didn't think there was.

From what I understand, you can pick up rental vehicles at the Swan or Dolphin - does anyone know???

I would say no 3D shows at all.

Hannah is 7 and still doesn't like them. She won't leave the glasses on. She has done Pirates and Haunted but they are not her favourties. I think it is because it is dark.

At MGM she will not go to little Mermaid either. She is scared of Ursla. Does she watch the DVD and know the character?

there's an avis one somewhere at WDW moo -
You can get good deals there sometimes.

I'm not sure about the swan and dolphin.
If you all need a ride to get the car, let me know.
We'll definitely have our car -
I found out today that I miscounted on my free southwest tickets - so we're definitely driving.
Which won't be too bad.
I hope!
11 hours with a 2 year old?
Am I dumb or what? :confused3

moo, there are also rentals at the car care center near the ...POLYNESIAN!

Nab - I'm really worried about the little mermaid - I'm going to try and sit at the end of a row near the exit so that if she's scared we can leave -
but I HAVE to try it with her. She was 14 months last year when it was rereleased - she fell in love with Ariel before she even saw the DVD! "Mermer" (mermaid) was one of her first words. She LOVES ariel (which is funny, cuz it's my favorite character too (like you couldn't tell from my signature!). Crystal says I did it on purpose - but she started liking Ariel while we were gone to WDW).
So now we buy Ariel EVERYTHING for her.
WEll, me too.
WE have plates, cups, a beach towel, her swimsuit, toys, etc all of Ariel.
And Jeannie LOVES my artwork (I have an ariel sericel and four prints plus Ariel on two group framed artwork thingies).
I don't think she's ever noticed my snowglobes though - which is good!
