I want to know the super trick that Twinkie used to log on the DIS from the library. Our library blocks out sites like these Glad she was able to get logged in. Next time she needs to use her kids library card (as well as her own) to bypass that being timed rule . I wonder if they chose an internet provider yet.

It is warmer today. Actually just nice. Every time I go to the bus stop early the bus is late... But I just think only 5 more days of the bus.

Babynurse--I'm glad your neighbours could help and they knew what to do. I on the other hand couldn't have helped. Never been near a horse I don't think. See them from a distance all the time though.

Little Blue -- today is the day your help arrives? And you get some sleep, I hope.

Moo -- I know you will get your ribbon back. You are just going though a rough patch...Stepped in a paddy sort of speak. I will be thinking of you today.

Marita-- With all this stress you must be grey by now... You need an easier job. Maybe a welcome person at Walmart, or a clean up person at McDonald. Nope neither of those will do you don't eat or shop. I guess you will just have to retire.

Good morning gang. WAKE UP!!!!!

I've already had an eventful morning. I was driving the two little boys to their school (they have this thing at their school where they can go during the month of June and do fun activites and go on field trips and such). ANYWAY, they decided they wanted to go today, and I"m glad they did. Otherwise I would not have seen one of our horses STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD!!!!

I pulled out of the drive, and right down the road at the end of a little hill, there she stood! I drove my truck up to her slowly and corraled her around back to our house, but of course there were cars coming. One had two teenagers in it, but this is the country, and they are used to the occasional stray horse or cow in the middle of the road, so they used their car to help me too! That was so nice.

I then hopped out of the truck and told my ds-8 to run and open the gate. Aha, therein lied the problem. Ds-12 did not close the gate last night when he fed them. who knows how long she'd been running around.

By the time I got her back in the pasture, another guy had pulled into our driveway to help. So I guess while I could have upset by the whole thing, it made me realize that I really do live in a nice community, and people think nothing of stopping on their way to work or school to help out a gal in need.


Marita: sorry about all the stress. hope today goes well for you

I suggest you lay in mama-guilt to DS12! There is no better or stronger punishment! 12 year old boys are soooo FUN!

UMA -- is your new fridge nice and cold. Did you wear out the light bulb.. Is it stainless steel? How is it for finger prints since you have all those rug rats in your house.

My house right now smells like banana bread...yum. The kids go though phases with bananas , sometime I can barely get them out of the grocery bag. And now they are leaving them to ripen to much so they won't touch them. So it becomes banana bread. And that too will probably be gone by tomorrow.

Celery-- get cracking, because you better make it in Sept. We want to met you and Tammy. And you wouldn't want to disappoint the little ones.

not much planned for the weekend Nab. I think my husband is working and I just heard my girls are hosting a going away party for two of their friends. They are off to Poland for two months to visit relatives. I vaguely remember them asking if the party could be held here- guess I said yes

No, he hasn't had time to open our pool yet. hopefully by August...

Baseball game sounds fun. We went to a game after our cruise- a Kansas city AAA farm team here in Delaware. It was a step or two above Babe ruth league. Fn night and they had fireworks. The girls surprised Bob with the tickets for Father's Day. They had fireworks after- we had a good time.

The kids will think it is suppose to be that way. They don't eat the crust on the bread they will think I just trimmed it off for them and they will thank me.
