My kids love going food shopping with me I just can get done faster with out them.

I was going to find the teachers gifts on my own today but couldn't really decide and Hannah pleaded with me that she wanted to pick and go with me. Last night she wanted to get her an air freshner thing at the dollar store that had purple flowers on the top. I told her we could find something better but I might just have to go back..

UMA told me to get the teacher I wasn't fond of an A+ Teacher something. I did see a teddy bear with that on the foot( wasn't a nice furry bear either). I told hubby what would one do with it.

Hi kids,

My poor dear husband fell asleep at his desk. BN- he isn't rockin' anymore. I have an equilibrium problem and this will last for another week or so. Should've seen me when I tried ToT and RnR ! Worse yet, was the constant change in altitude when I was in Switzerland. I looked like I was really drunk.

My daughters are still working on their rooms. The oldest, cleaned her closet and drawers and had a huge pile of clothes she'll never wear. I swear I'm never buying clothes for her unless she is there!
The youngest is reaaranging her room- it will be a work in progress til she returns to campus

Nab- Mickey D's can be a fun date. anywhere with just the two of you can be fun!

BN- sounds like fun at the grocery store- I visited Cel's trivia- thank God no sports questions !

I am living large in the Big City. However it will be awhile before I get internet. What is up with that?????


I love my new house! We have decorated with lots of boxes in varying degrees of emptyness. It looks great.

I am keeping busy stripping wallpaper which is a lot harder in a 20 yr old house than a 50 yr old house. Go figure.

I haven't read back as I am on a library computer with a timed session

Nab, I should be done by September. Just have a big deadline Friday, then a bit of a LUL before it kicks up again for WDW budget, which is the really big one.

I put a frozen lasagna in the over, should be done by about 9pm.

OMG I just tested and I was only 76......so I am having cheese its and cream cheese and chive .....that is to low for me.....YIKEs....
SO whats up with the rest of the world.......today was a bit chilly and rained a few times.....but now the sun came out and it is actually pleasant...Megara is barking at someone on her street...geesh ...she does not like to see anyone on the streets .....

Thought I better post so no one sends out the rescue party! Another latish night for me, but tonight it was because we went to look at a potential car for our DD, among other things, after work. Her car is on its last leg and the mechanic she took it to talked to my DH on the phone and they both agreed that it was not worth fixing (engine-related) DH is sending her a photo and we took it for a test drive. It seemed pretty nice. Only 20,000 miles.

I partially moved to a different office today. If anyone wants to hear about that, I'll tell the story at chat rather than posting it here.

On a positive note, my DH found a program and was able to recover my Disney trip photos from the first half of my trip before the camera crapped out!!!!!!!!!! I'm SO happy!

I'm going into panic mode to clean I allergic to cleaning. I had the kids rake the basement of their toys The task master in me is coming out

Moo, maybe its a co-dog?! I'll have to think more on that.

Good morning gang. WAKE UP!!!!!

I've already had an eventful morning. I was driving the two little boys to their school (they have this thing at their school where they can go during the month of June and do fun activites and go on field trips and such). ANYWAY, they decided they wanted to go today, and I"m glad they did. Otherwise I would not have seen one of our horses STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD!!!!

I pulled out of the drive, and right down the road at the end of a little hill, there she stood! I drove my truck up to her slowly and corraled her around back to our house, but of course there were cars coming. One had two teenagers in it, but this is the country, and they are used to the occasional stray horse or cow in the middle of the road, so they used their car to help me too! That was so nice.

I then hopped out of the truck and told my ds-8 to run and open the gate. Aha, therein lied the problem. Ds-12 did not close the gate last night when he fed them. who knows how long she'd been running around.

By the time I got her back in the pasture, another guy had pulled into our driveway to help. So I guess while I could have upset by the whole thing, it made me realize that I really do live in a nice community, and people think nothing of stopping on their way to work or school to help out a gal in need.


Marita: sorry about all the stress. hope today goes well for you
