Thanks, Cel!

Steph. count your blessings with kids, they are still around. My son is tryng to go into the airforce. AWWWWKKKKKKKKKKK EEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKK! I dont even know how to express it...........

Marita, sorry to hear about Bandit. Our 14 year old dog has been having some bad days off and on and the vet says he is having some kidney failure. I was worried to leave him at the kennel when we went to NC last month, but he did fine other than getting him into and out of the car.

I got the simpsonize to work.
But I'm not really happy with the results. They wouldn't let me be "hefty"
And aparently you really are my older sister, cheryl.
we look the same!!!

I'll post it tomorrow. It's on my other computer.
Yeah, I think the basic models are pretty similar, depending upon ethnicity and hair color. It was fun to tweak the hairdos and eyebrows. I played with the nose on the one I did for my BFF and gave her the skinny version. If you pick the sporty/casual outfit, you can choose the hefty version. I'm not sure if the outfits are different in the other categories. I'll have to explore that a bit more.

Twink, that would have made a cool siggie!

LOL, DTD - so WERE you visiting to see the ferret?! Or are you still with DGF?

Moo, I think I would pretty much look like you, exept if they had a bit longer hair option maybe.

This one turned out a little better. The hair is closer this time, but I forgot to change the color of the outfit. You do get a little different clothes options if you pick "dressy" and a younger age!

Marita, you are probably right about how your cartoon likeness would probably turn out!

Sorry Marita. :grouphug:

I tried to simpsonize but it rejected my photos. Of course I had limited ones on the laptop to work with. I could take new pix that would work I bet but I was too lazy today for that kind of project. I have very few pictures of myself. I had grand plans to simpsonize the whole family and make a cute signature but we don't tend to take head shots of one kid at a time.

Instead I lolled around all morning. I was so tired from yesterday. I went school supply shopping :scared1: and cooked, cleaned, laundered and even ironed a little.

I kind of understand Uma and Cel's obsession with the new sewing machines. I have a new iron and suddenly it is fun to iron. I even did DH's hankies. I KNOW! However ironing is difficult because it scares me to do it while kids are underfoot (and they are always underfoot) so that means wasting nap/tv time or doing it in the evening. I don't like either option.

Bandit's with Jesus, Marita. That's what I tell my kids anyway.

Twinkie- I left my iron ON two night's last week! The serious sew-ers say to get an auto off one. I need a new one! Mine is the cheapest Black and Decker Walmart sells. I want one that doesn't stick to fabric (even though it's clean).

Ironing IS a little fun, I guess. Except I have kids underfoot too. I don't eant to teach them "HOT" that way!

Goog Morning!

Wendy - When Ethan was under 2 he snuck up on me when I had the oven open and learned "hot" by touching the open door. Kaleb has a different approach. He see's someone in the oven and he RUNS towards it. I think he needs to learn hot too. lol

Twinkie - I can't believe you like ironing. lol. I hate it. Can't you iron in front of the TV so you can have your tv time and ironing time?

Marita - I am sorry about your pet. I had so many horrible pet losses as a child(pig, dog(s), bird) that I never get emotionally attacthed to animals anymore.

Moo - What a beautiful daughter you have. ;)

DTD - Hi. BTW I keep forgetting to mention that you made me laugh out loud last week when you posted, "I hope your SHIP comes in soon". ;)

We went and saw the house again last night. The bedrooms are all bigger than here, except ours which isn't TOO much smaller. The kitchen has MORE counter space and drawers and cabinets than mine now. Woo hoo! Also the dining room is HUGE. Plenty of space for our growing family to one day need a huge table. And even the front little living room isn't too bad. Big enough for a love seat, chair, coffee table and a small tv cabinet(one day). So it will be nice one day to have 2 extra living spaces, both with seating and TVs. I LOVE THE HOUSE! It's so great! We'll even be getting rounded corner bead, which makes it look soooooo pretty! I can't wait to be able to pick out all my colors!!!! Now we play a waiting game and hopefully that money will arrive in the beginning of Sept. so we can get started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liking to sew is perfectly understandable.
Liking to iron is WEIRD! :snooty:

Marita, we'll be back Sunday night. Don't be standin' me up at the dumpster. What a great place for a dismeet, btw.:thumbsup2

Have a great weekend mooooovers. See ya!

::MickeyMo :donald: :stitch: :simba: :goofy:

lol Celery. I don't even want to know what mine would look like.

Is pregnant an option for body type? ;)

Do it Mommyp! Maybe you can be a sister with me and Moo! :rotfl2:
Our blonde, young, pregnant sister!

Mine is a Sunbeam. Regularily $30 but I had a 20% off at bed, bath and beyond... it is auto off (and it is serious about it.... take a break to go potty and your iron will be cold), retractable cord, bidirectional steam. Yeehaw!
Not top of the line but handy dandy and it works so much better than my old one. Also has a cute storage strip to tell you when it is cool enough to put away AND it came with a lil' cup to refill the water while you are ironing. Cause I do run out of steam because I get a real kick out of blasting the wrinkles away.

Ooh also it has some sort of fancy schmancy filter so you can use plain tap water instead of distilled.

Twinkie - I can't believe you like ironing. lol. I hate it. Can't you iron in front of the TV so you can have your tv time and ironing time?
Well the laundry room and ironing stuff is upstairs where I don't have a tv (yet). The plan is to put a tv in the master bedroom so I can fold and iron in front of the tv like a civilized person. And carting everything downstairs would a) be a lot of work b) if I fell while carrying an ironing board I would feel stupid and my DH would be really mad.

Liking to sew is perfectly understandable.

ha! takes one to know one ;) Really it isn't that I love to iron.. it is the whole playing with the new toy idea. The iron is new. Novelty is fun. And I do need to iron at least 6 shirts a week. I have started doing the girls sunday dresses too and my blouses. When I am not pregnant I don't buy anything for myself that needs to be ironed but I have a couple of cotton maternity blouses that look smart ironed but frumpy when you you are round and wrinkled.

I love all the simpsonizing! I think I would look like Moo's DD only more matronly. (Nice siggie btw moo! WHAT a great idea)

You look great Celery!

MP- great news on the house! Sounds about perfect. Everything works together for good doesn't it? And you are doing great on the weight gain too! I don't know how you do it. I am no good at controlling my weight while pregnant. I get so ornery when I am hungry. Fortunately eating what I want when I want seems to work for me while I am expecting. Not so much other times:rolleyes:

Hey twinks - take a vacation and come use my embroidery machine.
It's tedious to do the embroidery part, but I need lots done.
I'll let you do your own stuff for free!
