I couldn't get the simpson thing to connect when I tried.

I got a message at one point last night that the simpsonizeme site was too busy, so I tried later and voila!

You do need to use a head shot of a specific size in order for it to work, but that's not too hard these days with digital cameras. And if you need to resize your photo or crop it, this site works great: http://www.resize2mail.com

Thanks, Twink - I thought it was pretty amusing. And you can tweak your picture by changing the hair, accessories, clothes, and even adding a background. The only problem is that you only get one shot. Once you have Simpsonized yourself by pressing the button the final time, you can't go back and edit, you can only change your background scene. But you can make a buddy icon (that is how I made my little head shot).

I may try it again sometime with a different clothing choice. I think I picked sporty or casual. That's how I ended up with a dumbell in my hand That was the only one I liked that looked like my figure type.

TIP: After the countdown finished, there was a pause, then I had to press the Simpsonize Me button a couple times to get it to finish.

..oh, nabby g. , your right..i forget to explain stuff...well, i always
see you guys ... as mind readers? there were some additional panama
taxes, $100 per berthing,..did not go over very well..& there are
rumors..our cruise is overbooked..way over. *we been going with
dreams, for the last few years....* we have 2 rooms, [for the boys-

]...so we getting off very "lucky".

..are we talking baby~ talk..again?....big?...patrick was 3 weeks over
& only 9lbs, 9ounces...buttie....it was "his" head...* i knew right
away..he was ...a champion..off the charts!....& though my wife dosen't
recall her scream { she a lady- }...i was there!!!, and let
me make this clear...the students, didn't walked out..they flew out!
squeak, squeak went the wheels..poor parents---i feel sorry whoever,
"gets"..that one!..squeak, squeak, why is that getting louder, and louder.

There goes Lil G raising his post count by posting 3 in a row. AGAIN. Maybe BabyN will "Get" the whole squeak squeak thing. I sure don't. I am really watching my weight gaining this time to avoid the whole 9 pound baby again. That and I don't want to grow out of my size medium maternity clothes.

I can't wait for my appointment on Friday to hear the baby's heartbeat again. It's been like 6 weeks. Too long. I'm also thinking they'll start measuring the size of my uterus now and I'm curious to know if it's on track.

I have already cleaned both bathrooms and my fan and wiped down my bedroom with some wood cleaner.

We're getting started at school and alread Seth has lost his playstation privileges this afternoon.

Chad's signing the contract this evening. And he's going to put in a microwave in that house(the one we're going to build that we went and looked at) so we're going with him so I can check it out again. I can't wait!!

Moo - Is that supposed to be what you would look like in a simpson world? I can see the resemblance.

Twinkie - How was your lasagna? Our pork chops were yummy. However, I still cannot eat pork apparently. It didn't stay in me more than an hour. I don't understand why I can eat ham, but not pork in it's "white meat" form?

I'm off to fix my big glass of milk.

We had our first foster parenting class last night.

Then I went to JoAnn's and spent more money.
Then I went home and made a Minnie Skirt for Jeanie.

Morning All,

Kay -- I'm awake.....Just getting the kids and myself ready before I come on.

Hannah was excited because she could change all the calenders in house today. And is actually counting the days until she goes back to school. There are 33 days until school starts or as Nicholas would say only 33 days left of holidays.

Lil'g-- glad you were not the one that was over booked. Is that 100 more per person tax

Mommy -- Is this the ultrasound on Friday? Hope we get to see pictures too!!

Moo-- cool picture , I see the resemblance.

Nab - No. It was supposed to be my appointment and u/s. But I had to reschedule the u/s. So it's for next Friday, the 10th. And we ARE going to find out what we're having. Of course I am fully expecting her not to be able to tell us.

The fake-sagna was very good. 5 out of 6 twinkie family members cleaned their plates. It was fake beause I used medium shells instead of lasagna noodles. Easier to eat that way. And cottage cheese instead of ricotta.

And I made a huge recipe (by accident really- I like to experiment in the kitchen) so I have a whole 'nother 9x13 pan ready. However Mr. Twinkie doesn't like re-runs so I need to cook something else tonight. Hmm.. maybe stir fry? with actual chicken?


I have every size maternity clothes imaginable. I hope I don't need them all.


What is up today? I am still tired just from being out and about all day yesterday. I have nothing pressing that has to get done today (except maybe laundry) but lots to do. My house has also suffered from us being out so much.

And we are out of milk. AGAIN. Where does it all go?


School starts Aug 16 for the kids. Will I be one of those moms who cry when the bus comes? will they be tears of joy?


And Donald- in additon to the baby-talk we told some fine jokes yesterday
