Twinkie, glad to hear that you're home and have Internet again!!!

I'm feeling pretty darn old today too. Especially after being around a bunch of grad students ;)

I am lucky that my hubby is driving again.

Melinda, you were asking me about typing on the batphone - I am pretty proficient using the on-screen keyboard and the word completion feature really helps!

We are going to drive as long as possible today.

Nope, Melinda - we're on I-77 just past the VA/WV border. Just passed through our second tunnel.

These roads sure are curvy!

I knew Moo. Those roads are crazy we did them one summer.

Hope you make it home safe and sound. When do you go back to work or are you off another week?

Marita --must have took the day off. Hope she isn't working all day.

Lexi-- is your car or was it a van looking spice and span now. Everytime we clean our car the darn seagulls hit it. Plus we live in a growing subdivision and it is really dusty so we don't bother much.

The inside could use a good cleaning though. My hubby missed that gene. My dad and brothers clean their cars every weekend.

Hey gang.
Got home a few hours ago,, read the paper and took a nap(not on purpose).
So Dabluestreaker, you know Tony. Well, Tony is one of the rookies I'm taking in September. He'll be rooming with me. Pray for me. Also, I didn't teach the kids any new words they may have picked up this weekend. I swear.
I went to the Renaissance festival nearby Saturday morning, interesting time. I don't guess Disney will ever have a mud show. That's wake some folks up. It might be worth the trip if you like that sort of thing Melinda.
I'm worn out. Think I'll watch The Simpsons and head to bed. If you're a fan, consider going to USAtoday.com and voting for Springfield KY. It's near Shelbyville.;) NIte all.

Glad you had a good weekend Donald.

It is a small world that you know the same people Celery and Tammy know.

Pretty early to go bed. I'm guessing you have an early morning start.

Big Brother is coming on for me....

Nab, we are still several hours from home. We are splitting the drive.

We are in Grumpyland now (Ohio)!!! Hi, Lil' G!

I talked my hubby into visiting the Longaberger factory for a couple hours tomorrow though! But I have to get up really early tomorrow so we can be there by 9:00 when they open. I'll just pretend I'm at Disney ;)

Hi, everyone!

Moo, you are still on the road? When are you coming home?

I have been in dumpsville for 2 days now, it's like someone stuck in a needle in my balloon. I got almost no sleep last night, I keep sort of dozing with bad budget dreams.

My car has had the Maint Req'd light on for a while now. I tried to take it for an oilchange a few weeks ago, but the line was NOT moving, so I left. Finally tonight, DS went to check my oil and said, You can't go to work tomorrow, your oilcap is missing, and there is oil all over the engine :scared1:

I said, I can't NOT go to work, it's my busiest week of the year!!! So he went somewhere and got an oilcap and fixed me up

I am waiting for my dress clothes to dry so I can hang them up, and then put some frozen pizza in the oven. First thing I will have to eat today.

Sorry to be such a downer.

TWINKIE, yay, happy you are in your home now, hopefully soon the other missing sheep will make it back too.

See ya later, hopefully in a better mood.

donald - glad you had a good weekend!

Moo - my mom would LOVE to go to the longaberger factory. She's obsessed.

nab - I've never had rhubarb. What does it taste like?

marita - sorry you're in the dumps. Want me to send you some prozac? It makes me happy.

I couldn't find any notebooks I liked so I decided to make my own. I bought some cardstock, some of that colorful foam that's popular now and some ribbon.

I finished them today and I really like them. If I wasn't tired and lazy, I'd post a picture.

Hi Lex! Hi Poly!

DTD: I certainly hope my godbabies came back every bit as innocent as they were when they left to go up there!

Hi everyone else...although it sounds as though I popped in long enough to say hi only. Cel's ready for the bed! Weekends...they just aren't long enough....even when they're 3 and 4 day ones! Oh well...at least I have almost two weeks off in Dec.

marita - sorry you're in the dumps. Want me to send you some prozac? It makes me happy.

Yes, Cel, could you airlift some posthaste please????

Hi, Marita - We got a hotel for the night so my DH wouldn't have to drive too long today.

Glad you got your car fixed. Hope your week gets better. I have to go back to work Tuesday.

Cel, there's a new Longaberger factory store that opened since I last visited. Should be interesting to see! I'm sure their prices are still pretty steep.

I'll have to report on it tomorrow :)

Hi everyone! I just entertained myself by reading the dozens of pages I missed due to the moove.

Thank you all for the nice wishes and thoughts about missing me. I loved the pic Moo and the song Lil Blue. Where is Lil Blue these days???? and Betsynotsowetsy????? Did you meeps scare them off?

I also see I missed the penny incident and special guest appearances by WT and DisneyMommyMichelle.

And don't think I didn't notice your snide comments about my lack of mooving prowess, MommyP! I am not as organized as you are... and I am lazy. And being carefu not to overdo/lift. But the big thing is that my husband is the PackRat of all packrats. It is scary how much "stuff" we own and most of it is his. I will claim that the kids and I own about half of the books. We could stock a small library.... but only if you interested in history, classics, or children's books. Oh yeah. I do still own a number of textbooks. The number of boxes marked office and or school supplies is :scared1: and I won't even mention the scrapbooking stuff.

There is still alot to do... like hang curtains and deal with those boxes that Uma told me to mark Misc.

Hmm. Other news. I am hungry.

DH dropped his phone while we went for a walk. Didn't notice for an hour. It was in a puddle by someone's sprinkler that whole time. Now it doesn't work. :sad2:

The kids like the new house. Twinkerbell's favorite is the playground in the backyard. Princess Twink likes her new pink room.

Oh Lex- No, this is my first marriage. However I didn't give birth to DS13. He was the free gift with marriage. Like ginsu knives. Only better. ;)

Ditto:) ...

Just flying by the farm, and had to stop and see y'all. I had a great weekend celebrated and couple of birthdays, went to a wedding and spent time with a new friend :goodvibes

But I'm still hooked on my pretend cyber life. Hope everyone is happy and doing well.

GOOD MORNING!

Marita....Sorry about the car! Have a goog week this week! I love DVC! :)

Twinkie
......DS13 is definitely better than ginsu knives and what a wonderful freebie! Do you have lots of bookshelves in the new house?

My DH is a packrat of world champship quality. His work lead him to lots of good junk. We have been living in our house for nearly 14 years and I think we have reached maximum density. The man can't get rid of anything!

BabyN....Glad you're home...safe and sound.

Lil G'.....I wore painters pants too! Shhh.

DTD
....I voted for Springfield, KY! Although I grew up much closer to Springfield, TN. ;) Looks like IL has got a lot of support!

NAB....My car will never be clean...just clean-er. Thank goodness it's a color that doesn't show dirt!

Celery, Tammy, Moo, Poly, Kay, everybody else.....

Where's Wendy & MommyP?

Goog Morning!!! We are on our way to the Longaberger place. We had a full yummy breakfast included with our hotel rate.

WELCOME HOME, BN :) Hope your trip was splendiferous!

Misty - Nice to see you. Your pup is getting so BIG! She's a cutie.

Twink, it must have taken you a while to get caught up. Maybe now that you're back Uma will be around a bit mor again. Unless her Internet is still kerflooey. Hmmmm, not quite sure how to spell that, LOL!

Morning All,

Twinkie -- don't over do it on the unpacking. Does your new house have air conditioning?

Lexi-- Is your car sand colour or grey. Hubby got our van in sand brown (?)colour because it would show the dirt. He said a lot of old people buy it because of that.:lmao: I wore painter pants too!! Nicholas has some now.

Martia-- Hope you have a better week too!! Good thing your son fixed your car, would want anything to happen while driving it.

Moo-- What is Longabeger? Looks nice outside today. Hope you are cruising with the top down.

Babynurse -- Welcome Home :cheer2: Hope your not spending the day doing this :laundy:

Lil'g -- trying to keep that ground hog happy indeed. We had rain during the night and now it all sunny and blue skies.

UnderDog-- sounds like you had a great weekend. I love weddings. Only time hubby and I get out. And we both love to dance.

Hi Spongie, maybe UMA needs to visit you and use your internet....:lmao:

moo - My mom's favorite christmas gift from me was about 8 years ago. A friend of mine had a longaberger basket that they didn't want, so they gave it to me. And I wrapped it up and gave it to my mom. :lmao: She was so excited! Even after I told her it was free. My sister was really mad that year since she went out and bought my mom some fiestaware, but she loved the basket more.
:rotfl2:

twinks - Do the girls have to share a room in the new house? I keep my old textbooks too. Sometimes they come in handy for reference. For dorks. Like me.
AND YOU! WOO!

Nab - great idea! UTAH! GO TO SPONGIE'S HOUSE!

lil g - painter's pants are nice and colorful, so they count!
