PJ: Hope you got some sleep

I did. It was glorious. I was amazed how much better I feel when I sleep. Maybe I should try it more often.

Ya know, my kids somehow "wrangle" two birthdays out of us every year. B/C we can't have his party until the weekend, but yesterday was his actual birthday, so he wanted to go out to eat and get some presents and have cake and ice cream, and balloons. Not quite a production, but still a small bday, and like I said he gets a "for real" party next weekend.

Since my birthday is on New Year's Eve I always con everyone into giving me two parties. I maintain that what people are celebrating on New Year's Eve is, well, New Year's Eve. They need to have another day to celebrate just ME!!!

Wonder how P.J. is doing with all those kids? I'm sure she is having a great time because she is a good teacher and can handle them all. Turning the lights on and off really works at school at least in Hannah's class they all turn and put there hands on there heads , why that doesn't work at home I don't know.

Aww...thanks. I'm not a good teacher yet, but I'm trying. I did end up having to have the kids by myself in the morning but an aide came in in the afternoon. It wasn't bad at all because they have religion in the mornings anyway. We had a class meeting when they first came in to discuss what it was going to be like with only one teacher and what was expected of them and what consequences would be. So, they knew how they were expected to behave right off the bat and let me tell you they were little angels!! Maybe I scared them all....now that's no good.

Too much to do, too much to dooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plus, my hubby sidetracked me by showing me some very cute potential puppy pictures from a rescue organization. Male (his) and female (mine) Yorkie/Corgi mix puppies! So I filled out the adoption application and sent it in so they would consider us while we are away on vacation

I figure if they've been hanging out together, they probably already have dominance sorted out.

Time to switch the laundry.

And we're going to see if we can pick seats and print boarding passes in advance of the 24 hour timeframe

Moo - I almost called you, I was having a nervous packing breakdown. dh came home instead, and I found the neighbors cell phone, she's going to watch the guinea pigs... *sigh

Dont forget to pack an extension cord for our chargers (phones and cameras, etc etc)

Also pack a hand towel in a zip lock bag, so we'll be prepared for any and all rain - I guess that Low Pressure system is wrecking havoc on Wishes cruises, glad I didnt plan one this year!!

I hear ya on the drinking! Can't touch the stuff either. Once, while we were in the Bahamas ,we went to a welcome party. The bartender told me to try a 'yellowbird"- he said it was very light on the alcohol. I drank some of it and started to feel loopy. told my husband I was going to lean against"that" tree,only "that" tree wasn't where it was supposed to be! Fell flat on my face and he had to carry me upstairs. Didn't wake up until the next morning.
That's why I stick with my drink of choice- pepsi!
