Today is Ethan's birthday. We're having his party NEXT weekend due to scheduling conflicts. He's a smart boy. He wants a Colts football party. I wonder if Peyton is free next Saturday?

MommyP I'm sorry to hear about Ethan's bee sting. What a horrible place to be stung, yikes! I hope the pain and swelling goes away soon.

I haven't stayed caught up with the reading, and so didn't know that Mana is now a boy instead of a girl. I'm sure you'll find a name you like. I have forgotten the names of all your boys, but I assume you have used or ruled out the rather common Biblical names like Stephen, James, Samuel, Paul, Jeremiah, Luke, etc. If all else fails there's always some of the umm rather exotic names like Abinadab or Melchizedeck (sp) hehehe.

We already have a Jeremiah and the other's are way too common for me.

HEY they're showing a powerful tornado in Cape Coral FL - that's where my parents live!! (think Ft Myers FL) 50 homes damaged, my aunt lives in a trailer park -

His eye is better today. Less swollen. That injury was nothing compared to the time Kaleb fell on his mouth and knocked FOUR of his teeth loose.

We go to church in the Cape. There have been funnel clouds and water spouts every night since then because of the "cool front" the never actually made it here with cooler weather. That tornado actually started as a water spout. It was only about 20 feet wide though. Thankfully all the bad weather is on the coast and we're more inland.

OK, MommyP, go shopping online for a receiving blanket.

I have been suspicious that the stitches in the receive an adult blanket looked a bit anemic. I looked it up today. Sure enough, I skipped a stitch for some rows. So then I unravelled some and now it's all tangled up.

SO go pick one out, and I will send you one (or even bring it next week) Wait, I think I can just have it sent to you directly, duh!

But I am NOT giiving up, I will untangle the mess and venture on!

If nothing else, I will have it ready for you for your next pregnancy, which of course will be a girl to get a blue blanket! (Suitable to receive an adult!) or at least 1/2 of one

lol. Don't feel like you HAVE to make or buy anything! No pressure from me.

Well I have WONDERFUL news! Our SHIP has come in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, someone from the program last year dropped out and so the head lady down there immediately grabbed up those funds for us. We got our letter of acceptance yesterday. Now she will call our funding people and coordinate a closing date! Which will hopefully be ASAP. The letter said that they needed 20 days to get the check before closing. After that our builder can go to county for permits and that should only take a few weeks at the most since there is no building going on. Plus we have a church friend in the permit department. After that we can break ground!!!!!!

We are just trying not to worry because it looks like work is going to get real slow again.

More good news!!!

My sister is having a boy! Yay!

I am off to get ready. My sister and I(and all the boys) are heading out to that consignment store that's going out of business. It's nice and overcast today. Hopefully it stays that way. Makes it much less hot out.

I know someone who named their baby Zion. That's unusual. How about Elijah? I know you kinda liked Levi. Gabriel? Gideon? Alexander? Eli? Ezra? Thaddeus? Uriah? Isaac? Reuben? Philip? Micah? Malachi? Jared? Linus? (one of our pediatrician's named their baby Linus. I think of Charlie Brown though)


That's all I got off the top of my head that are kinda different, but not TOO different. and those are all in the Bible, which I know you want. I'm sure you'll find the perfect name.

Good morning! Thanks to everyone who is playing the riddle. It is my first time hosting and I didn't want it to be a total flop.

I posted the riddle during my midnight trip for snacks. I am at the point where I can't eat enough at any one time to last very long. Last night I had the feeling where you want to unbutton your pants but you are already in your jammies. The doctor says this baby is very small....good thing for me.

According to my baby name book Mahlon is the next hot old testament trend.... but doesn't that mean "weak" or something? It is one of Naomi's sons who died in Moab. I am trying to talk DH into Luke. Gonna be 85 today.

I'm really uptight today. I didn't let my boys see the Simpson's movie. I won't let them watch the tv show. My oldest went over a friend's house and the dad got one of those copies and let the kids watch it. My son is grounded for going behind my back, but at the same time I'm upset with the parents.

My friend, Danielle, who is a nurse that I work with was actually in the delivery room with me. She was working in the nursery that day. When he was born, I'll never forget her exact words to me.

"OMG Liz. You just gave birth to a 3rd grader! If I hadn't been here, I would have never believed you did it."

My aunt (only 2yrs older) let her dh pick out the boy names - Levi, Larramie, Luke - we were so hoping for a girl (25 years ago Levi and Larramie were not common names - and he is a Church of Christ minister ) Well she had twin girls - Cilia and Cece My cousin has Joshua, Matthew, Luke and Andrew - there are a lot of boys in the family I had Nathanial, but dh thought it was too long a name for a tiny (10.8# baby) so we compromised on Nathan.. then he named the next one Ryan... he went with Irish names!!

Its the hardest thing, stick with Scaramoush and Iphagenia!!

ALL DONE!!

Now for packing - dh wants to bring only his Hawaiian shirts!! works for me, just get on the plane!! DD not so sure.. she has this really cute Hawaaiian Dolphin short, w/ Halter top she wears to the Ohana - well, dd I think it wont fit... YES it will,you just dont like me wearing halter tops... Bless her heart, she somehow got in on over her head - and admitted..."hmmm, maybe I did grow a bit!"

Still not sure about shoes... I must have running shoes and crocs.. flip flop crocs or Mickey crocs? or Both??? and maybe a decent pair of black pumps for dressy... a couple of our dinners are nice ones... FOUR pair of shoes??? eesh...

...the best action i saw..was @ the browns ' game..and the welcome,they
gave...the nasty,old begnals' chaddie..when he jumped into the dog
pound..now thats real sports!! ..where you want to & holler?

dear colt's fan..baby n?...i know/met one of the colts..he's from my home
town..and was on the 2002, buckeyes... ,what i like to say....
he set up 3-4 scholarships...for under privileged kids..to go to ohio state...
now that's a role model to brag about...& he's a colt!




ha! stay, with me..& i make you all into psych nurses....

we had students.... & of course.....i was sharing some of the
things....i learn....., but what made ...a greater impact...was later on.

a situation arosed..where..i was able to demonstrated these "theories"
into..effective interventions...., what interesting, they did not /could
not grasp...the dynamics..because it was very dangerous encounter.

...but piece by piece...they witnessed..the theory "working" out the event
where the person gained self control..and redirected/ or at least set a
limitation,over his feelings toward using violence..as a control measure.


all i did..was to "illustrate..those 's ,were governing my intereactions

~interventions, and they saw the desired results. ,they got
a very good lesson yesterday! * i wish you could've seen their faces...
after watching ..me "showin those things i talk about here"..work to
prefection...just like....

* because..i understood...the reality..of his behaviors/choices...& reflected
it back ....helped him, to help himself [improved mental judgments], even
though....he was not a willing participator--ha! that's a grat outcome!



...oh, the thing..about ..reality....simply put.....this is a very valuable
concept..for improving one life. use it & good things will happens......[ i
like it....nope, it !..for revealing the benefits of common sense-
iam saying..we could do so much better..in health care..if professionals,
were drilled more on the baiscs..stresssing their applications...]

oh, my "tights"..sometimes..i think , we are connected..i can't beleive,
you all were doing panties talk!...the other day, before work.....i was
desparte..noticing the basket was full..of my wife's panties stuff.....

The names I made bold are already used. By us or other people at church. No not a J name. We have all different letter names.

I have a nephew Eli and a new baby at church was just named Eli. That's used up. We love Isaac, but my youngest sister has said she and her DH like Isaac and I don't want to be one of those people. We don't like Micah anymore and all the others are just plain not us.
