Moose & Goose- The 5th anniversary is the Dis Trip Anniversary- Baby Update #2 5/1

Narrator: The stars of our show have marked the biggest thing off of their bucket list... But they've got another hurdle to cross.

We decided to sleep in after our big adventure last night. We decided we were just going to go to EPCOT whenever we got up.... which was around 10:15. I know, I know... there's no sleeping in Disney!
I got up, got in the shower and then rolled Moose out of bed so he could start getting ready too.
While he was in the shower, I got in the fridge and got out the left over corn bread.. that stuff is good even cold the next morning for breakfast! Moose had a bag of BBQ potato before he brushed his teeth.
Breakfast of Champions is what we had!
EPCOT opened at 9:30 a.m, World Showcase opened at 10.
We we were at the bus stop by 10:45 and waited only about 5 minutes.
We had yet another mission today: drink our way around the world. That means one drink in every country. 11 countries, 11 drinks.... 8 hours (or less).
We got on the bus and it was standing room only.
We stood near the front of the bus. I took off my sun glasses and put them in my purse, with one of the legs sticking out, hanging down the side of my purse. I zipped up my bag and turned to say something to Moose when I heard a snap.

I immediately looked down to see the leg of my sunglasses hanging off of the frames.
I told him what happened and I heard a voice say "is it just that you need a new screw or did the leg pop off?"
The English accent immediately made me happier. Why is that? A lovely English accent can change my mood? Weird.

I told her that sadly the leg had popped off... but the last time we came, I had lost my sunglasses on the first day of our trip getting off of Peter Pan... so I came prepared this time, with a second pair... which unfortunately was in the room. That won't do me much good today.

We had a lovely chat about England, I asked if they lived close to where they had the Olympics, they said that they did, but didn't go to any of the events.
She said that her and her kids came for 3 weeks.
Can you imagine that?! 3 WEEKS IN DISNEY?!
I have no idea what I'd do with myself for 3 weeks in Disney. Not that I'll ever have the money for that....

Anyway- when we got to EPCOT, we immediately had our picture taken in front of the ball by a PP photographer.
We got a map and headed to World Showcase. Where should we start?
Because it was so early, I wanted to head over to Canada and try to put our name in for lunch.

The husband wanted to go to 9 Dragons for lunch and then maybe Canada for dinner.
Okay... I let him win.
On our way to the World Showcase, we saw someone we knew....

Pinocchio!!!!!

We started in Mexico.
10 a.m.- first drink: Mexico: Margarita

Care to see the rest of the menu?

So we could get through all the countries, we decided to share a single drink. Which, in the end was a good thing.
The view from our table? BEAUTIFUL!

Wish I was there now!

As we left Mexico, we were pretty happy people!

10:30 a.m.- drink 2: Norway:

Carlsberg Beer:

While in Norway, I had to do the "picking the troll's nose" picture. I'm pretty sure it's mandatory.

Also, for those of you who have been here from the beginning, I would like to point out that today is the day I wore my sparkly bow. This one is silver... as you can see from the picture with the troll.

By now, it was nearly 11... 2 drinks in an hour... we were still pretty happy.
However, we were starting to feel the alcohol. I called my little brother.. because I had promised him I would while we were drinking our way around the world. I talked to him as we walked to China to see what the wait was at 9 Dragons for lunch. That's one of our favorite places to eat in Disney.
VERY HAPPY to be at 9 Dragons again!

Someone else who is finally... HAPPY!

I was pretty hungry... as is evident by the fact that I waited until there was only 1 pot sticker left before I took a photo. We ordered the pot stickers as our appetizer. There are 6 of them... I think. They are hot and moist and perfect! We eat a lot of Chinese food and every place we eat at is always compared to 9 Dragons! Sauteed Pork pot stickers:

After we ordered, I was trying to focus on anything except the alcohol in my system... alcohol for breakfast is not a fabulous idea.

Then, our food came... I ordered the Honey Sesame Chicken:

and Moose ordered the Kung Pao Chicken:
(Kung Pao Chicken
A saucy Guest favorite With Peanuts and Dried Chili Peppers)Then we ordered our alcoholic drink for China:(around 11:30) Drink #3: The Ginger Spritzer

Three drinks in an hour and a half.. and now we've got food on our stomachs. We are happy and full... Next, we decided we needed to slow down a little on the alcohol intake... so, what do you do then? Take random pictures in the China pavillion....

A very nice lady in the China shop asked if we'd like our picture taken together... Moose didn't want to... but I jumped at the chance! Honestly, this is one of my favorite pictures of vacation!

Before we leave China... DEERFACE!

This was another the husband didn't get it... and I had to tell him it was a Dis Board thing...
If you don't get it.. you're missing out on a frump-tastic read! Go find the Frumps anything... I'm currently reading her College Program. So cute and such a good writer!

We walked through the African post... I took pictures of the beads made out of park maps. I think these are so cool, but can never find one I like.

Now, we were on to Germany. I decided I needed dessert and that I HAD to go into the carmel shop. So, I did both.

OMG! SO much good stuff! I had the caramel square... it had like shortbread on it. It was pretty good... but it was huge.

I found a bench in the shade while Moose went and got our beer from Germany. After telling the CM behind the counter what our plan was, the CM said that this beer would be "the best you'll have all day".
Drink #4- Germany:

... meh..... B-

A random picture from Germany... because I'm sure none of you have ever been there before...

The view from our bench? Our backs were to the lagoon.

While we were sitting there a woman screamed behind us... Apparently a lizard crossed her path. She wasn't happy... it had run closer to the bench we were sitting on... and her teenage son ran over to it and stomped it so it splattered all over the concrete. I was a little upset by this... that was uncalled for. There was no reason to kill a helpless lizard... even if it did scare your mother.
Not only that but 1. now that's a mess someone has to clean up and 2. I don't want to look at that while I'm enjoying my snack!

I had a few drinks of the beer, and then finished about half of my caramel, when DH was ready to move on.

As we were sitting on the bench, I was feelin' the alcohol. I told him I wanted to update my facebook status before we moved on (to give me a few more minutes).
Here's my facebook update:
Becca: So, after a drink in each of the first 3 countries in EPCOT: Mexico, Norway and China I'm wondering how we ever thought it was a good idea to have a drink at all 11. Whose idea was that?

I finally agreed to get up and walk to the next country.... Italy here we come.

I'll stop here because I'm out of picture space.
Thanks for reading!
See ya real soon!

great chapter!!! I know you can make it through the 11 countries! didn't you do the "mexican small world"?

I am very upset about the lizard. people come to a place with a semi tropical climate, and then get upset becuase of the wildlife? and what kind of teen stomps on a poor creature? smidgy is not happy:(

Wow - You did every ride in the MK in one day? I am seriously impressed! How great that the CM let you get on Splash. Soaked at 2 am does not sound fun, but totally worth it.

7 buses? OMG! :faint:

Still have to read your most recent update.

We decided to sleep in after our big adventure last night. We decided we were just going to go to EPCOT whenever we got up.... which was around 10:15. I know, I know... there's no sleeping in Disney!

There's no slee....

oh. you already know that.

But you did it anyway?!?

I got up, got in the shower and then rolled Moose out of bed so he could start getting ready too.

Did he complain when he hit the floor?
Or had you placed pillows there ahead of time to cushion the impact?

I got in the fridge and got out the left over corn bread.. that stuff is good even cold the next morning for breakfast! Moose had a bag of BBQ potato before he brushed his teeth.
Breakfast of Champions is what we had!

You're on vacation.

If you want to eat chocolate cake for breakfast, lunch and dinner...
I'm okay with that.

I immediately looked down to see the leg of my sunglasses hanging off of the frames.

They weren't expensive, were they? :scared:

I heard a voice say "is it just that you need a new screw or did the leg pop off?"
The English accent immediately made me happier. Why is that? A lovely English accent can change my mood? Weird.

That's all right then, love.
Care for some tea and crumpets?

Can you imagine that?! 3 WEEKS IN DISNEY?!

I can imagine it.... but can't see it actually happening.
But boy that'd be nice.

I have no idea what I'd do with myself for 3 weeks in Disney.

Okay... I let him win.

I've found that there are two ways to win.

1. The wife wins. This is the normal result of almost every situation.
2. The wife allows the husband to win. The result of those situations where the wife doesn't really care who wins.

On our way to the World Showcase, we saw someone we knew....

Cool! So who is that with Pinocchio?

10 a.m.- first drink: Mexico: Margarita

Nope. The Margarita is all you need.

Isn't that cheating?

While in Norway, I had to do the "picking the troll's nose" picture. I'm pretty sure it's mandatory.

And gross, too!

So... bonus points.

Also, for those of you who have been here from the beginning, I would like to point out that today is the day I wore my sparkly bow. This one is silver... as you can see from the picture with the troll.

Very nice. I hope people noticed and complimented you.

We ordered the pot stickers as our appetizer. There are 6 of them... I think.

'cause you weren't as think as you drunk you were?

They are hot and moist and perfect!

Gotta admit, it does look good.

After we ordered, I was trying to focus on anything except the alcohol in my system... alcohol for breakfast is not a fabulous idea.

:lmao:

I've read a little of her TRs, but decided to back away....

Hard to pass that shop by!

the CM said that this beer would be "the best you'll have all day".

Oh boy! I can't wait to hear what you thought!
I'm sure you'll wax poetic over this, the best beer in all of Epcot!!!!

oh.

Yeah... 7 buses... that's what convinced the husband we'll probably never stay there again.

Yeah... I wasn't happy about it either. I was shocked that the mother didn't say anything to the boy... I think they may have been foreign... still.. no excuse.

No.. I wasn't quiet "staggering" yet... but by the time we left Morocco, I think we both were.

Hi Goose. :wave2:

Still around. Finally back from DLR & California. Had a little catching up I had to do at work. Now I'm trying to catch up on everyone's TR's before we start ours. Off to catch up now.

Glad you guys made it back safely! Can't wait to read you TR... but be sure to catch up... I don't want you to miss the next chapter... it's pretty funny.

Thank you all for reading along. It means the world to me that you all are here!

Hi, just wanted to say I have been reading along, enjoying your report.
Sadly, I am often too lazy to post, I will try to remedy that.

Still trying to catch up, but I'm wondering something here.

Luckily we both had the Disney app on our phones... we checked the lines for the 5 rides we had left. Peter Pan was REALLY long- 40 minutes, Philharmagic was 10 minutes, Carousel was a walk on and both mountains were 20 min each.
After the carousel, we ran next door because the lines were short because the parade was going on... Peter Pan was ONLY a 25 minute wait! So we boarded our boats and we were off to England...

Ok. At first I wasn't sure if I missed something here. While reading this I thought "Well didn't they get a FP for this? Why wouldn't they use it? Did they miss their time slot?" Then I was thinking maybe you thought about getting one until I went back to one of your other chapters and read this.

After realizing how small of a world it is, we decided to get fast passes for Peter Pan because it was a 55 minute wait.. and because THAT is my husband's least favorite ride, he did NOT want to wait in the line for it.

Inquiring minds want to know, are these Fast Passes now part of your scrapbook?

I guess for the time of night it was long, but I don't consider 40 minutes "REALLY long".

Still wouldn't wait that long, mind you.

Best time to ride Peter Pan is at rope drop.

Or get a FAST PASS and actually use it. :rolleyes1 :duck:

When Lady H and I were there in December last year, there was already a 30 minute wait for Peter Pan at 9:30 in the morning. I guess everyone ran to this ride. We grabbed a FP and went to PhilharMagic while we waited for our time to come up. PP is not something I would wait a long time for or is it a must do every trip; but is fun to do every other 3 trips or so. This was the first time we ever did PhilharMagic or Peter Pan. PhilharMagic I would see again for sure.

Well it looks like I'm all caught up for the moment. At least for another week.

We had yet another mission today: drink our way around the world. That means one drink in every country. 11 countries, 11 drinks.... 8 hours (or less).

Decided to try this huh? It can be done. Lady H and I did it once. We attempted it 2 times before we finally accomplished it. 3rd time was a charm. Best of luck to each of you.

We started in Mexico.
10 a.m.- first drink: Mexico: Margarita

Ooh. Mexico.:headache: Bad place to start. This doesn't look promising. Lady H and I found it's best to start in Canada. At least that's what worked for us.

So we could get through all the countries, we decided to share a single drink. Which, in the end was a good thing.
Isn't that cheating?

This was my first thought as well. "Hey! That's cheating. It's supposed to be one drink per person, per country in one day" :sad2:

I found a bench in the shade while Moose went and got our beer from Germany. After telling the CM behind the counter what our plan was, the CM said that this beer would be "the best you'll have all day".

This is where we failed the first time. We started in Mexico. We were doing fine until we got here. Found a beer we really enjoyed and got another one and yet another one. At that point, we knew we wouldn't make it around the world so we got another one

Second attempt, failed in Germany again. Second attempt, we started really late though. Didn't start until 3 in the afternoon. Which left us to average about 2 drinks an hour. 7 drinks about 4 hours later left us feeling pretty good already. We knew at that point that once again we failed.

great chapter!!! I know you can make it through the 11 countries!

Well when you share a drink at each country, just about anyone can make it through all 11 countries. :rolleyes1

Well when you share a drink at each country, just about anyone can make it through all 11 countries. :rolleyes1

So, yeah.... one per person per country... I'd STILL be there on my third country. I am the SLOWEST person ever in drinking. If I go to a party or something I can make 1 drink last all night, if there's no ice in it. If there's ice in it, I'd drink maybe a third and then dump it and make a new one so it wasn't mostly a layer of warm water on top of my drink.
I think if I had to have the entire drink myself I'd have to do shots and then take a break and meal between each country... and then the time for the meals is what would kill me. So, I don't think I'd ever get all the way around if I didn't get to share my drink with someone. I had half of each of the first 2 drinks and the one in Canada, and just about all but 1 drink of the Jinger Spritzer the drink in Morocco and the drink in France.

So, we walked over to Italy. There was a street performer playing with some children, so we decided after we got our drink to sit and watch them. He pulled this little girl up to help him and as his act went on, the little girl's little sister kept getting closer and closer to the action so he eventually just started adding her to the act.

The littlest girl was hilarious to watch because the street performer didn't talk, he just blew his whistle and she didn't quiet understand what to do, so it was pretty funny to watch.

Let me just preface Italy by saying, there's a reason people who go to Italy drink wine.
What did we order? Beer.
Drink #5: Italy- Peroni Beer

How was it? TERRIBLE! Honestly, don't waste your money! It was bitter and had more wheat than hops, so it wasn't that great. Yes- I'm a hops girl.

It was VERY HOT and of course there were no more tables with umbrellas on them, so we sat as close to the wall as possible to sit in at least a little shade.
You can kind of see in the picture, Moose's face is a little red... I'm not sure if that's from the drinking or from the sun.

More of the street performer:

We only had a few sips each and then decided it A. wasn't good enough to finish and B. to hot to sit there and be miserable drinking a bad drink and sitting in the hot sun. I think we only drank about 1/3 of the beer.
So, we decided to move on to the next country.

I ran over and got a quick picture of this lovely statue before we moved on to the American Adventure.

That was a quick trip!

On the way over to America it started to get cloudy and looked like it was about to rain. So we decided to go sit inside.

I decided I needed a non-alcoholic drink.. so I got an American Dream... from the Fife and Drum before we went in.

Then we went in and sat in the air conditioning while we had our other snack.
It was AMAZING! I think it's Blue raspberry freeze, vanilla ice cream and strawberry freeze on the bottom. It was SO good!

However, it was at this point that I looked out the window and noticed the mostly blue sky was turning to mostly cloudy.

The husband said he HAD to get a turkey leg, so I got him one of those...

The husband decided to call a few of his friends... while I was getting us a turkey leg & drink. I had forgotten how big those turkey legs were!
One of my favorite pictures of Moose from the trip:
<a href="http://s749.photobucket.com/user/MrsBennett9608/media/20130902_151032.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i749.photobucket.com/albums/xx132/MrsBennett9608/20130902_151032.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 20130902_151032.jpg"/></a>

We shared the Turkey leg and then DH decided he needed to go to the restroom before he had another drink. So, he did that and then got us a beer on his way back.
Drink #6- America: Liberty Ale (beer)

This was pretty good. He originally wanted a Yuengling, but decided he could get that at the resort again if he wanted to. It was very good. This one ACTUALLY WAS one of the better beers we had that day. I'd say a solid B+.

When we finished the beer, I asked him if he cared if we stopped and listened to the singers in the American pavilion. He was reluctant, but agreed. I had read about this on someone else's TR.... Nebo's I think. So glad I found out about this. Neither of us had ever seen this before.

But then we were SO glad we did. We both left with misty eyes.... I'm NOT ashamed to admit. At the end they sang the constitution and it was AMAZING! GREAT harmonies. After we listened to their show, Moose admitted he didn't know they were in there. I think this may be a "must do" for us now, every time we're in the World Showcase.

As we were about to leave we realized it was raining. Good thing I brought OUR PONCHOS!
I pulled them out and we walked on to Japan.
NO ONE was out... everyone was in the pavilions, trying not to get wet.
When we got to Japan, Moose already knew exactly what drink he wanted.
But I wanted to look around inside first. We looked in the big gift shop and he wanted me to get a kimono but I didn't know how to put it on correctly, so I declined.
Then, when the rain let up and we were about to move on, he got his next drink:
Drink #7-Japan: Keiran Ichiban (beer)

Oddly enough, it appears I have a picture of him ORDERING the beer, but not drinking it... hmmm... I had a sip.. it was one of the better beers of the day.. a little hoppy, but not bad. Not nearly as bitter wheat-y taste as the Italian one... eww! Seriously- get anything BUT that!

Because I know you've never seen the Japanese pavilion....
The pagoda

You can see people walking around in their ponchos in this picture.... it had slowed from a hard pour to a steady drizzle by this point.

Then, we went on to Morocco.
It was at this point that I knew DH had had enough for a bit... so I told him to go find a table outside of the Tangerine Cafe and call his buddy back who didn't answer when we were in America... that was 2 countries ago, surely he could answer the phone now.
You can see him sitting at one of the back tables, on the phone on the right, closest to the wall. He's hard to see because he's sitting at a table with an umbrella, so he's a little dark.
<a href="http://s749.photobucket.com/user/MrsBennett9608/media/208.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i749.photobucket.com/albums/xx132/MrsBennett9608/208.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 208.jpg"/></a>

You know, I've never really spent any time here, so I was interested to see what was here.
So, as he did that, I went to the bathroom and then walked around the pavilion.
Camel... not a Moose.

Someone on here.... I'm thinking MEK? Took a picture of a certain "phallic-y" looking obstruction on a wall in Morocco. I went in search of it.. and never found it.

neat little fountain

Then, I went back to the Tangerine Cafe and decided I would get a drink that I could drink most of... because I had only had a taste of the beer in Japan.. it was okay.
<a href="http://s749.photobucket.com/user/MrsBennett9608/media/207.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i749.photobucket.com/albums/xx132/MrsBennett9608/207.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 207.jpg"/></a>

So, I decided to get one of my favorite drinks:
Drink #8 Morocco: Sangria (wine-ish)
It was fruity, but what you'd expect from a bottled Sangria... nothing special. I was hoping they'd have fresh Sangria with fruit in it.. but no.

I had about 80-90% of this and the husband had the rest. By this time, it was around 3:00.

After we each had a bathroom break, we were on to one of the countries we had been looking forward to... France!
Now, in France, we stopped at the bakery... as we ALWAYS do. The bakery in France is pretty much a must do for us.
We walked back to where we always go to the bakery... and... it wasn't there. We stopped and looked at each other and then looked at the sign above the door that was obviously not the bakery.
"WHERE'D THE BAKERY GO?" Moose said loudly.
"They moved it,"... a lady sitting at a table near us said. We turned to look at her and she pointed further back.
"They moved it back there," she said. "They didn't have enough room in there anymore, so they moved it so they could have more space."
"Oh my gosh... I'm SO relieved," he told her.
"Thank you SO much," He said to the lady.. he grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the bakery.
Honestly, I could barely keep up with him... and then he was upset that I wanted to take pictures of the bakery and of the food.
We went back into the back of the shop, and there it was... big and beautiful.
looking right:

looking left:

OMG... SO MUCH ROOM! So glad they moved it... it was VERY cramped in the old place.

How do you choose? The Eclair looks good too.

I considered getting the Chocolate Mousse because it looked delicious. But decided on the Strawberry tart instead.

Moose got his usual... the Napoleon and we got a water to share. Nearly everyone in his family gets a Napoleon when we go there... I don't like it... the flaky layers are too dry for me. And... being a VERY sugary person... it's not sweet enough for me.

Our next must do in France? Get our picture taken at the fountain.

Then we got our "adult beverage" in France... My FAVORITE drink in EPCOT!

MY Grand Marnier Slush! AMAZING! Orange-y and doesn't taste like it has alcohol at all. Like I said, my favorite drink in EPCOT! The Sangria was probably second. (If we're only counting alcoholic drinks.)

At this point we sat down and checked my facebook again...

So, after a drink in each of the first 3 countries in EPCOT: Mexico, Norway and China I'm wondering how we ever thought it was a good idea to have a drink at all 11. Whose idea was that?
Here are some of the responses I got:
Heather- Lol. It is doable. Just pace yourself and remember to snack.
Kenny (Tiffany's husband)- Tiff says to just walk a little slower, or share a drink
Heather (again)- you started on the wrong side. Anytime we started in Mexico we never made it. Good luck! Drink water in between!
Wes(ley) -Come on Champ! Drink and ride a ride or see a show. Now, your ride selection is going to be slim pickin's in the World Showcase, but you can do it! I wanted to do it in May, but A) I saw the prices and it was too darn hot. Even for drinking. And I love drinking and EPCOT, so you know it was hot!
Wes- Tell Moose to suck it up and make Walt Disney proud! Find some scotch and go to town! After all, that is probably the real reason they built EPCOT!
Moose - I'm gonna do it! 5 more countries to go, I stopped in America and got my second wind! After your encouragement Wes I won't let you down!
Wes- If you are going to see Oh Canada with Martin Short, you are going to need a drink...

Hope you are enjoying the TR!
I'm going to stop here.
Thanks for reading along!
See ya real soon!:wave2:

We made our way to the bus stop and the line was CRAZY long! They seriously brought 2 buses at time to get all of us out of there... we took up the bus space for POR and for the resort wait space next to that... which they had moved somewhere else, so we could have the room for all the people for POR! We waited through 7 buses! It was INSANE! But, I have to say, there was a CM there with a walkie talkie telling them when to send more buses.
Once we got onto our bus, Michael helped a man carry a stroller onto the bus and the man's wife and three children fell asleep on the bus almost as soon as they turned the lights off. Michael and I stood so the children could sit with their mom.
The bus was PACKED!

We made it back to the resort and walked back to the room. By the time we got back to the room, it was 2:45!
We were glad we hadn't waited any longer to come back to the bus stop because when we got to the front of the line, the line had tripled in size!
I wish I would have taken a picture.. it was crazy!

Just as a hint for next time, we stayed at POR as well, and the lines for the busses are always long. What we noticed though, was that the lines for POFQ are not. We got out of the POR lines and started taking POFQ busses. It is only about a 5 min walk from POFQ to POR. Way better after a long day of waiting in lines.

I am so enjoying your trip report! If you decide to do a moderate on another trip - POFQ is the best choice. As much as I love Riverside (and there is more to do over there - bigger food court, Boatwrights etc) the bus system is so much better at POFQ because it is a smaller resort. It is the only moderate that does not have an internal bus system. Caribbean Beach and Coronado Springs are both quite large too. Just a tip from your travel agent - lol!

Hmm. Seems there were supposed to be some pictures here that didn't show up. Well at least they didn't show up for me. Shall we see what they were supposed to be and what we're missing out on? I know Nebo hates it when Pkondz or I do this, but obviously you wanted us to see them or else you wouldn't have tried posting them. Right?! :confused3

One of my favorite pictures of Moose from the trip:

It was at this point that I knew DH had had enough for a bit... so I told him to go find a table outside of the Tangerine Cafe and call his buddy back who didn't answer when we were in America... that was 2 countries ago, surely he could answer the phone now.
You can see him sitting at one of the back tables, on the phone on the right, closest to the wall. He's hard to see because he's sitting at a table with an umbrella, so he's a little dark.

Then, I went back to the Tangerine Cafe and decided I would get a drink that I could drink most of... because I had only had a taste of the beer in Japan.. it was okay.

Then we got our "adult beverage" in France... My FAVORITE drink in EPCOT!

There was a street performer playing with some children,

That's kinda creepy.

so we decided after we got our drink to sit and watch them.

Nope. I was wrong.

That's kinda creepy!

He pulled this little girl up to help him and as his act went on, the little girl's little sister kept getting closer and closer to the action so he eventually just started adding her to the act.

How was it? TERRIBLE! Honestly, don't waste your money! It was bitter and had more wheat than hops, so it wasn't that great.

Moose's face oh-so-eloquently portrays that.

Yes- I'm a hops girl.

Is that like a hollaback girl?

You can kind of see in the picture, Moose's face is a little red... I'm not sure if that's from the drinking or from the sun.

It's the drinking.

definitely the drinking.

We only had a few sips each and then decided it A. wasn't good enough to finish and B. to hot to sit there and be miserable drinking a bad drink and sitting in the hot sun.

You know a beer's bad when you won't drink it when it's hot out.

Is it just me or do those fish look like they're not too happy to be suspended by their tales out of water?

That was a quick trip!

Wow! Almost like you could just walk over!

Of course it's not possible, what with the Atlantic in between...

I decided I needed a non-alcoholic drink.. so I got an American Dream... from the Fife and Drum before we went in.

That looks good

It was SO good!

I know! I just said that!!

One of my favorite pictures of Moose from the trip:
20130902_151032.jpg

I can see why.
1. That sucker's huge! (umm.... I'm talking about the turkey leg.)
2. It's a very classic, flattering picture of Moose. The subtle shadowing offering a hint of depth and character, the catchlights in his eyes adding a hint of suspense yet at the same time, a tranquil Mona Lisa-esque mysteriousness, the strong lines of the jaw, the noble nose and of course... those ear lobes. Ah! What can one say about those lobes!!

It was very good. This one ACTUALLY WAS one of the better beers we had that day. I'd say a solid B+.

So you're saying.... it was teacher's pet.

I asked him if he cared if we stopped and listened to the singers in the American pavilion. He was reluctant, but agreed.

Of course he did.
That's how it works.

Wife asks husband to do something he doesn't want to do...
He agrees and they do it.

Husband asks wife to do something she doesn't want to do...
She says no and they don't do it.

See?
Easy.

We both left with misty eyes.... I'm NOT ashamed to admit.

Awww... it's so sweet that you left with tears in your eyes.

Moose is just a big baby.

For the love of God! Don't tell him I said that!!!
I'm particularly fond of my skin and would like to keep it mostly intact.

As we were about to leave we realized it was raining. Good thing I brought OUR PONCHOS!
I pulled them out and we walked on to Japan.

Next time, put 'em on too. Then you'll really see how great they are!

NO ONE was out... everyone was in the pavilions, trying not to get wet.

Or putting on their ponchos...

We looked in the big gift shop and he wanted me to get a kimono but I didn't know how to put it on correctly, so I declined.

Insert right arm in right sleeve
Insert left arm in left sleeve
Tie belt

See? Wasn't hard.

it was one of the better beers of the day.. a little hoppy, but not bad.

That's how Thumper_man likes his beer.
Hoppy.

You can see people walking around in their ponchos in this picture....

See?
First there was no one.
Now they have their ponchos on.

He's hard to see because he's sitting at a table with an umbrella, so he's a little dark.

Can you be "a little dark"?
Isn't that like being a little bit pregnant?

Camel... not a Moose.

Check.

Someone on here.... I'm thinking MEK? Took a picture of a certain "phallic-y" looking obstruction on a wall in Morocco. I went in search of it.. and never found it.

You looked for a long time, didn't you.

I had about 80-90% of this and the husband had the rest.

I guess that's fair, since you were constantly stealing sips from his drinks.

The bakery in France is pretty much a must do for us.

Would you believe, I've never even seen it?!?

We walked back to where we always go to the bakery... and... it wasn't there.

Whoops! Looks like I missed my chance!

"WHERE'D THE BAKERY GO?" Moose said loudly.
"They moved it,"... a lady sitting at a table near us said. We turned to look at her and she pointed further back.

Phew!

Honestly, I could barely keep up with him... and then he was upset that I wanted to take pictures of the bakery and of the food.

No one should stand between a man and his pastry.

no one.

How do you choose?

So young.
So naive.
You take one of each.

:sad2:

And... being a VERY sugary person... it's not sweet enough for me.

Goose is sweet.

I believe you.

Then we got our "adult beverage" in France... My FAVORITE drink in EPCOT!

MY Grand Marnier Slush! AMAZING! Orange-y and doesn't taste like it has alcohol at all. Like I said, my favorite drink in EPCOT!

Never had it.
At least not there.
I've made it.
But never had it in EPCOT.

Hope you are enjoying the TR!
I'm going to stop here.

See ya real soon!:wave2:

Yup! Enjoying it very much!
Thanks for the update! :goodvibes
