Moonlight Magic with no park passes?

We have 4 Moonlight Magic passes for DHS in September. My daughter tells me that she and her boyfriend are not planning to arrive to Florida until the day of the event, Wednesday August 14th and and then they are going home on Monday August 18th. When can they arrive at DHS under the party tickets? If they just go to the party, I can get them a 4-Day Magic Ticket and save a boatload of money. I will have to deal with no park hopping over Food & Wine, but I think they would be OK with that.

DHS closes at 9 pm that night, so entry should begin at 7 pm for those registered for the event.

Yes, you enter the park at 7pm officially. However try to get there at 6pm (if you're staying at disney resort/hotel do not use your own vehicle to park line will be horrible) They start letting everyone in 30 mins before officially entry. I was first in line and entered the park at 6:30pm those extra 30 minutes helped so much

Yes, there's typically a check in location inside of the park.
