Not an expert on this so not sure if the booking date is hard or not but I do know that following the early registration that there is a general registration as well Good Luck!

Also wondering if we do get in to try to early register on the 19th, and we do get tickets, can I modify my resie for another resort if available? Or will that cancel our tickets to MM? We have SSR and may want a different resort.

Just make sure you do actually modify the current reservation. Don't cancel and book another location for same dates. Don't book with different points and then cancel the original reservation.

When you modify, the original reservation number remains attached. If that reservation is cancelled, it could trigger the MM reservation to be dropped.

If you have a DVC made room resie with all the names on it (booked by 11:59pm on the 15th) they will send you an e-mail tomorrow afternoon with a link in it. And will tell the time for the 19th that you click the link to get in the queue. Many of us open the queue on a few devices. Once the time comes you click in the queue and get a number assigned and so the multiple devices gives you several number spots so you go with the lower one and the queue will move you along and take you to registration when your number spot hits. Can take 90 minutes, more or less. Have your membership number (the blue card one that you need the room resie on as well). You will then enter info to get tickets. Some folks will not get them (people with higher number spots). Last time I tried, I didn't get it. Had like a quadruple number spot if I recall correctly (or high triple number....it was a high number) and we were travelling so I only had my phone to try with.

Our family is a group of 12, staying in (2) 2 bedroom villas. What do I need to do to make it so I can register all 12 of us for the event? Everyone is listed as a guest on the reservations. I'm wondering what steps I need to take.

I think for early registration you need blue card membership and resort resie using that blue card membership. I think. That was my understanding. For general registration the chat person told me no resort resie was needed at all. You can do a chat on the DVC member site and ask.

Others were successful for prior MM events. If you have multiple membership ids, have both handy and enter the one the reservations was made under first.

So if you only have a non qualifying resale then no you can't register for MM. If you have 2 memberships, UY and member numbers, and booked in the non- blue card member # then no they say you likely don't qualify for early registration. If you have 1 membership # with 2 contracts and 1 is blue card and other is resale....the chat guy is not too sure. Ugh. But I think that does qualify you because the direct blue card means that whole membership is blue card. I have 2 memberships...June UY and Aug UY. My June has resale and direct where the direct qualifies me. Both are BWV and I use out of both to book and have been qualified to register on a few occasions. So I think that's all good. My Aug is 2 small direct that don't qualify for blue card at 96 points. Need 54 more. So I can't book room with those and qualify for early registration MM.

Thanks for posting that! I seem to only erratically get emails from DVC and was worried I wouldn’t get an email at all. Although my husband gets them. Go figure.
