Thanks. I know there's all kinds of good info on the disboards, but the search function is horrible. I had tried searching and couldn't find anything. Then I googled and found a site that said all the registrations were already closed for the 2025 events. I thought that was strange but thought I'd find out the truth if I posted.

On a side note, DH and I have not been using our points for WDW the last few years. We are huge HHI fans and have been going there instead. But with the free water park promotion, I thought it would be fun to fly down for a few days when a Moonlight Magic was happening. I would love to go to the Epcot one in April (just so I can use those snack credits at a festival), but with a June UY, it's pretty risky! If I booked a trip and then couldn't get MM tickets, I would be pretty mad to be there and not be able to go into Epcot! No interest in buying park tickets, so I may wait and see if they announce anymore dates for 2025.

It’s possible they were referring to the last round of AK MM events. I think all 4 dates listed above held the lottery/registration on same day. So the only 2025 AK event date released so far has already completed registration. There’s a good chance they open more dates for AK in 2025, maybe another park(s) too?

Hoping for a fall Epcot MM just to be able to experience F&W again. I miss that! (And yes, I realize F&W is not open during MM, but I've read you can get in early and use your snack credits at the booths before MM begins.)

I’m following this as well. I am a new blue card member and thinking about trying to get into the July 17th Epcot event. But could try some other dates/resorts based on availability. Is this normal to not have the 2025 registration for moonlight magic opened yet? Do they do this on a rolling basis (ie 4 months before a moonlight magic event)?

Just paranoid I’m going to miss registrations being a new blue card member - I never before got any communications on these so hoping I will in correct timing to register.

It’s been inconsistent on how far in advance they open.

Usually they announce dates when the year starts for when it will be, but the actual date may not be too far ahead

For example, the Aug 27rh event at HS had reservations on Aug 1st for resort guests so we had just a little over 3 weeks.

When the registration dates are announced, someone will post them here for sure, so keep checking DISboards periodically as time gets closer for the one you want. I do regularly get email notices from DVC, but I frequently read it here first!

You are allowed in a few hours before MM starts. Not sure what time F&W ends.

There are typically two reservation opportunities - first window is for those with a lodging reservation, then the second window is everyone else (including those with a reservation that were not able to register during the first window).

I am new to Moonlight Magic but have owned DVC for a few years. Do you need to be in a DVC room for registration? Or can you be booked anywhere on property? I assume you need to be at a DVC resort for the early registration.

For early registration you have to be a DVC owner and have a reserved DVC stay with points on the specific day of MM...cannot be a cash booking. I think that's it.
