Monty dog visited the Milford Drive in Last night! It was his first trip to the drive in and I think he had a really good time. Here are some pictures of his adventure…

On his way to Milford…it was a much longer ride than we expected and Monty sure loved looking at everything from the window.

We got a great spot, and our friends (who were camera shy) were nice enough to treat us to some snacks at the concession stand. Yummy! (Don't tell anyone, but Monty even got a little piece of a burger and a few fries… ;) )

We took Monty for a walk to…you know…and we were shocked to find that there is a gorgeous stream/brook/river  behind the parking area that is open to the public. We decided to explore…

It looked so pretty from the various angles. The water ran the entire length of the back of the parking area and then some. It was truly breathtaking. A hidden treasure of NH.

Monty cooled off a little by taking a quick dip. Unusual because he tends to hate going in water but here he just jumped right in…

On our way back to the car, we saw this lovely path which lead to a beautiful cornfield. It made me think of just how beautiful the country is.

Isn't that pretty? We were going to explore but it was huge! And we had to get back because the movie was about to start.

And Monty anxiously awaits the start of the show…

It was overall, a great night. :)

Sounds great! MY kids don't do well at the theater much less a drive in where they probably couldn't see anyway. How I long for a drivbe in! My last movie at one was Back to the Future III.

So, do tell - did Monty stay awake for the whole movie?:p

And those pictures are beautiful - we do live in a gorgeous country.:D

Those are great!! I like those stream and cornfield shots, and Monty, well, can't say enough about Monty, LOL, he is just too cool. Thanks for sharing your evening. :)

He actually did stay awake for most of the first movie and just looked out the front window. :)

He slept through most of the second one and though, and the ride home. He's still a little sleepy today. He has such a hard life...

;)

MNice pictures. Been a loooooooooooong time since I have been to a drive in.

Monty is a cutie and sure looks like he had fun. We have a drive-in south of the metroplex and haven't been in much too long. It is fun. :)

that's really neat that you have a drive in by you. :)

i went to one when i was younger near my grandparent's house, but it's been torn down now. :(

Monty needs a companion at the movies, LOL.

Great job on framing the cornfield with the two trees!

Wow, hidden treasures indeed. Love the pictures of the hidden creek (and Monty is pretty darned cute too. :) )

You all look like you had such a great time!

I've worked with several animal rescue groups and it always makes me happy to see a pet who is so loved the way Monty is!:)

:) He is very loved. I wish with all my heart that every dog and cat (and other pet) could be as special in someone's life as Monty is in ours.

Wow. Even I have never been to a drive in! Very cool!

Monty is a doll! We used to have a Jack, and she LOVED going anywhere in the car. I'm sure she'd have loved the drive-in too!

Give that pup a snuggle for me!!
