Hey Everyone: I was listening to the first half of the show this morning, and heard the discussion of monthly payment plans for WDW annual passes. It triggered a thought in my mind that I heard there was a monthly payment option available for Disneyland annual passes. I looked it up, and sure enough, there it was. Southern California residents have a monthly payment option for annual passes. Kind of makes you wonder why WDW can't have that option at least for Florida residents for WDW.

As reported on the site:

That is how I got my pass this year for Disneyland. I went on the day of my birthday..applied it to my down payment. Basically you pay for a one day admission..then a montly payment (with no interest). I love it! I had not been able to get a pass for a few years..but the payment plan has given my family a great way to enjoy the magic again!!

This feature has definitely made a difference in passholder numbers since they started offering it. Between that and the birthday promotion, you can see the difference.

When I heard it on the podcast I thought it was sooooo unfair that WDW doesn't offer that option to Florida residents. Am seriously considering getting Universal Annual passes since they offer the monthly payment option.

I was just thinking how much I have saved this year by not going up to Disney as much as we used to - about $4,000! We would spend about $350 for rooms and another $300 on food, gas and tolls on each trip. Like the money, but miss going to Disney :sad1:
