Well, considering they've already released the Mike Hat, Mosters, Inc. Shirt and Laugh Floor Comedy Club Room recently, I think this fits in pretty well.

I suppose you have a point there. I guess I still have that pin mentally associated with the ride opening so a re-release didn't make sense to me.

I agree. They could have released a pin more in theme with the Laugh Club, which is a totally different attraction from the Monsters, Inc. Ride...

Except that would mean designing a new pin, and well, you know how realistic that would be at this stage of the game. I understand the reason behind releasing the Monster Opening pin, even though it doesn't fit the exact logic.

I'm glad they did this. It gives newer people a chance to get the pin before VMK closes. What's the point of keeping everything locked up?

I was very surprised not to see this when all the Monster's stuff came out, although I guess it was in pin trading this past weekend as well. I think it seemed logical when I saw it was out (not that Monsters / TopsyTurvy / Halloween is logical, but... ).
