Monsoons and other stuff

So I know its hot.... but just how hot? Up here in MA it's been a mixed bag. First it was very warm, then it was very warm and humid, then it was very warm and wet. Then it was cool and humid. Then it was cool and wet. Today was cool and sunny - It has been the weirdest summer I can remember.

Is Orlando experiencing weird fluxucations in temp and humidty too? Or is it just hot and sticky all the time? We leave in a day or so... I am trying to get a grip on the weather situation.

p.s. I dread wearing a poncho in the humidity - any alternatives for those monsoon afternoons?

It rained over 6 inches in less than 1 hour at Epcot when I was there, so expect the worst. But yes, it's humid when it rains. Try an umbrella.
