Part 2
I don’t eat much cheese & would never normally order a cheese board anywhere. I was looking forward to trying it tho. I didn’t end up liking any of the cheeses & sadly there were only 2 small half grapes, unlike the little cluster @trishadono had. I loved the fig jam.

We both had the chocolate sphere dessert & thought it was delicious. We loved the presentation. We’ve been in many fine restaurants before but never in one that had simultaneous service. It was impressive to see how coordinated the courses & this dessert were served. I took videos & a few pictures.

Our last bites. I’m not a macaroon fan & was pretty full by now. But my DH was able to eat them all. We also tried the sherry at the waiter’s suggestion. A sip was enough to know it wasn’t for us.

We definitely enjoyed our meal & I’m happy we did it. It won’t be an every trip experience but I can see us doing it again in the future. The options if you don’t eat seafood are not definite so that’s my biggest concern in booking again. We were lucky they accommodated DH & that he enjoyed both courses.
DH & I both dressed in what we thought was recommended for MP, he wore black slacks & a button down shirt, I had black pants & a nice dress top too. I think only 1 other couple was dressed the same. Many men had polo shirts & women had capri type outfits. But there were also just as many parties in park attire, jeans, shorts & T shirts. It was cold the night we were there but I would definitely wear a nice sundress if we were going in the summer. But just for anyone wanting to book, the dress code & attire we saw was definitely no different than any other signature restaurant. The table next to us was a couple with a child who looked 6 or 7 ish. The child had his tablet & was watching that most of the time. I did not pay too much attention to what he ate, but from what I remember he wasn’t really having the meal. I *think* he might have had some plain pasta at some point but not absolutely sure. And of course I have no idea if they were charged for him or how much. He was not disruptive to anyone around him at all. Sorry didn’t mean for this to be so long & 2 months late, lol.
