Its a tradition, an icon for us. We started are madness in June of 1977, stayed at the CR and the monorail was the coolest thing there, plus the only way to get from our resort to the TTC, Poly and MK. We've never seen anything like it then or now, we consider this our greeting poiny in the ride in, first to spot the monorail tracks and then to spy a train. whether is day or night, night is especially grand with all the lights from the resorts and MK, and the sound and smell of the cars never leaves you.
We're resort snobs, that said we're usually on the monorail loop of resorts or close enough, WL, to get s boat to CR and board a monorail. Most always take the long ride to EPCOT cause its the best traveling through Disney property and over the freeways. To us a trip would not be complete without riding it as many times as we can, we also enjoy the buses, late at night, few people, super cold inside. Nothing could be finer then to..............
