This sounds weird but.... Myhusband and I are going to WDW for a week. Late in the week, his siter from Tampa wants to come visit but will not but tickets as they are too expensive. She wants to rede the Monorail. Is that possible. I am thinking no.
Please help me out.

She can definitely ride the monorail. She can park at the TTC and catch the resort monorail around Seven Seas Lagoon to the Polynesian, Contemporary and Grand Floridian and/or the Epcot monorail. :)

True enough.
But, there are actually THREE monorail routes (with multiple trains running on each route).

On each route, the trains will "loop" around and around on their own unique track.

1) "MK Express Monorail" TTC > MK > TTC > (loop runs counter-clockwise)

2) "Epcot Monorail" TTC > Epcot > TTC > (loop runs clockwise)

3) "Resort Monorail" TTC > Poly > Grand Floridian > MK > Contemp. > TTC > (loop runs clockwise)

As you can see, you can transfer from or to any monorail at the TTC (which is also the MK parking lot.)

You may ride any and all of these, if you like.
They do not "let you out" INSIDE any theme-park,
so you don't need a park ticket.

"Por favor mantengase alejado de las puertas."

Thank you all for the answers. I thought that since you go through security you could not ride.

No connection.
Besides, guests do not necessarily go through any security checks for all monorail trips.
And, even if they choose to board at a monorail station where they do go through a security check, there is no obligation to enter a park afterwards.

I will also suggest that you/they an choose to take a ride on any of the watercraft transportation offered at WDW.
The shuttle boats between MK and Ft. Wilderness and/or Wilderness Lodge are scenic and fun (and free for anyone to ride.)

This is what we do if we are not visiting any parks...
Park at Disney Springs... do a little shopping
Hop a bus to either Fort Wilderness or Wilderness Lodge
Hop a boat to the Contemporary Resort
Hop the monorail to TTC
Switch to the Epcot Loop and do a round trip
Head on over to the Polynesian.
Start heading back to the Springs.

At some point during this loop we plan on Lunch/Dinner.
At each resort way point we will usually wander around through the shops for a bit.
A nice way to spend the day.
