Monorail Resort?

Hi,
I'm wondering what exactly is a monorail resort? I've read it about describing few different resorts. Does that mean that these resorts are connnected by the monorail? Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but always wondered what it meant. First time staying onsite and want to be prepared.


I will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge, so does that mean, I can take the boat to Contemporary, and take the monorail to the other resorts?

That is exactly what it means. The monorail around the Magic Kingdom goes in a loop and stops at five places - MK, Grand Floridian, Poly, Transportation and Ticket Center and Contemporary. Those three resorts are the "monorail resorts."

You can also take the monorail to Epcot. It will leave you at the entrance to the park. We haven't been in two years but you used to be able to ask the driver if you could ride up front with him. It's a great view and the driver will answer a lot of questions about the monorail and Disney. I don't know if they still do it.

Hi,
Thanks for the answer and all the greetings. No, I'm not from the Boston Area, I live in CT, but I'm a Red Sox Fan, and I named my Lab after Fenway Park, so that's how I got my disboard name.
