Hi.
I am booking my friends trip to Disney.
She (62) and her dh (65) haven't been to Disney in over 30 years.
Their first day of arrival they want to get on a bus (Staying at BW) and go visit and eat at one
of the monorail resorts. This will be on Sunday, January 7.

Should I book them at the Wave at Contemporary or somewhere in GF? Not sure if they would enjoy Ohana.

What would be your suggestions?

Thank you so much!

I 2nd Narcoose's, Citricos, or California Grill. O'hana is always a little louder, and feels more like a family meal to me. Have been with DW to Narcoose's and California Grill, and both are excellent options. Have never been to Citricos, but have heard very good things.

If not Victoria and Albert's, I would suggest (in this order): 1) California Grill, 2) Narcoosee's, 3) Citrico's ... after that maybe Kona Cafe and then Grand Floridian Cafe and then the Wave.

HI.
CG and Naroosee's are not available.
I've narrowed it down to Citricos or GF Café or Wave?

I've dined at Citricos many times, last being in September and I've found it not as good as I remember but maybe that is just me.
Would you all choose Citricos or GF Café?

Thanks.

Citirico's is not great, IMHO. I would save the money and eat at GF Cafe. If something pops up at Cali Grill - snag it!

You are right. I am going to tell them it's a casual dinner since they want to see the monorail resorts, this will be great.
Would you choose GF Café over Wave?

We enjoy GF Cafe. It makes for a nice first-night dinner, won't take a long time and then they can take spin on the monorail, visit the other resorts.

I would also say if you'd like to try California Grill (or any of the others not available), sign up for the reservation finder on Touring Plans. It's a great tool to help you find those reservations as people drop them!

The food is good at both, but I think the atmosphere is nicer at GF Cafe. IMHO, GF is a nicer resort to visit overall.

I really like the grand floridian cafe. We plan on going there in April

If it's casual, and not 'Ohana, I'd go in this order: 1. Wave, 2. Kona, 3. Grand Floridian Cafe

GF Cafe has windows, the Wave does not. I rather liked having natural light. Also, as others have said, there's a lot more to see and do and shop in the GF lobby.

You start out by saying they want to take a bus. I would suggest maybe taking the boat to Studios and then getting a bus to whichever resort from there. I dislike the new set-up at DS where everyone gets dropped off at one spot prior to the actual bus stops.

I’d probably bus to MK then walk (or monorail) to CR or boat to GF/Poly.
