Monorail questions

We are staying at ASMo but will be eating at Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare on our trip, and we'll be leaving from and returning to the parks, so I thought we'd use the monorail.

Where do we get on the monorail at the parks (MK and EPCOT)? Do they go directly to the resorts, or will we have to change? I saw them the last time we were there, but thought they were only for use of the guests of those resorts, and didn't pay much attention to them.

There are three monorail loops at WDW. They all meet at the TTC which is at the MK parking lot.

If, for example, you are at Epcot and want to get to 1900 Park Fare, you leave the main entrance of Epcot and walk to the monorail platform (big structure, see the overhead monorail going into it) and take the monorail to the TTC (It only goes between the TTC and Epcot, so if you stay on, you will end up back at Epcot),

At the TTC, you need to get on the RESORT MONORAIL. This monorail stops at

Poly, GF, MK, CR, and then back to TTC.

The third monorail is the express monorail. It goes between the TTC and MK without stopping at the resorts.

So, if you have taken the bus from ASMo to MK, and need to get to the ressie, walk out of MK and head towards your right. You will see two ramps labeled RESORT and EXPRESS. Take the resort monorail to the resort of your ressie.
