Monorail Question....not staying at Mono resort but can I take

Monorail from Resorts after a meal there? Thanks. Thinking of taking it after some character meals to/from the parks.

I'm pretty sure you can since the monorail runs through the Ticket and Transportation Center too. It's not specifically for monorail resort guests.

yes you can. The monorails are open for everybody. It is kind of fun to do one loop around the Poly, GF and CR. You can get a nice look at the lobbies of the GF and CR.

The only transportation I've ever seen restricted is the little boat that runs from the Magic Kingdom dock to the Grand Floridian and Polynesian directly (not the ferry that runs from the TTC).

It's supposed to be, but there's no one from stopping you from doing it. And I'm sure every one that has a Dining reservation would be allowed to use it.
A lot of people jump on the resort monorail after the park closing because it can sometimes be faster than the express. Although if you get up there just after it leaves, two will show up on the other side before one shows up on your side.
What better way than to take the monorail to the contemporary to eat with chef mickey?!!

But, you are not allowed to drive to the resort for a meal, then leave your car there while you take the monorail to the parks! There is an hourly limit on how long you are allowed to stay in their parking lot. Usually just enough time to have your meal.

What we do is park at the TTC and take the resort monorail to where we are eating. Afterwards, we take the monorail to the park. Our car is waiting for us in the TTC parking lot with no worries about a time limit at a resort.
