Monorail Pub Crawl?

Has anyone here done this before?!

There's a group of 8 adults going and we thought it might be a fun way to break up our day at MK. We're just trying to time it correctly! We'd like to do a loop around the resort monorail and be back in time for our ADR inside MK at 7:30.

The plan right now is:

Minzer's
Tambu
Outer Rim
California Grill (if there's time)

How much time should I allot for this? Is 2 hours enough? I was thinking we could aim to leave MK around 4:30, do our loop and be making our way back into MK by around 7pm. Is that enough time? It's been a long time since I've been on the monorail so I can't really remember what the wait is like.

Will the bars/lounges be crowded at this time (5p-7p)? We are a large group so we understand it may be hard to get seating, but we figured it would be better to go before our ADR rather than after (and risk fighting the fireworks crowds). Thoughts??

We started and Tambu Lounge around 7-ish. It was very crowded seeing as it is right next to O'Hana. People waiting for their dinner reservations were having drinks.

We then went to Mizner's which was very relaxing. The chairs we sat in had a view of the band which was really cool. It was not crowded and we walked right in and found a place to sit.

Our last stop was Top of the World Lounge which was busy but not crowded. We watched Wishes fireworks from the outside deck.

The whole thing took us about 2 1/2 hours. My advice is to stick to the plan and keep moving. It's easy to sit at the first bar and want to just stay there. Don't let that happen! LOL

I've been meaning to try this, too. But I always start at the Tambu Lounge & end up just staying there. Anyone who has had a Lapu Lapu or Backscratcher might understand why.
