Monorail Operating Costs and Reliability

I do and I have also stated there is not one system that will handle the widely different traffic and passinger volume in WDW.

The pods would be especailly handy running from resorts to DVD and the monorail from the airport and some parks to some resorts, juse for example.



The pods or light rial are not meant to replace the monorails or the buses but augment them.

Here is an example of how flexible a pod system can be.

It doesn't have to be a complete elevated system. This may help in keeping construction cost down.

With the magic band you can restrict usage to hotel guests. There are stories of people parking at DTD to avoid paying for parking at the parks. With a credit card They could ride for the cost of theme park parking.
