Because of the Marathon Weekend races & related events, the monorail hours of service are weird this weekend, starting Wednesday and ending Sunday. Each of the 3 lines is affected to some extent.
It varies day by day, but lines will be opening as early as 3 a.m. on some days. To compensate, they will also be closing earlier than usual, and on some days closing at noon and reopening in the evening. Buses and watercraft will fill in.
Be prepared to be flexible if planning to ride the monorails this Wednesday thru Sunday.
Also, just a reminder: many major roadways within WDW will be closed Saturday morning; most major roadways will be closed Sunday morning, resulting in major traffic delays, bus rerouting, and sometimes additional transfers. I suggest allowing about 2 hours for bus travel to reservations on Saturday & Sunday morning. The delays usually last to some extent until about 10am on Saturday & noon on Sunday.
