Monorail gate questions

I read a few months ago that Disney was installing automated gates at the TTC and MK monorail stations. Can someone explain what these look like and how they operate, and whether the resort monorail stations also have them? Thanks.

All the monorail stations have the automated gates. I don't have any pictures but when the monorail pulls up to the station the gates open inward towards the monorail.
