Monorail closing for rerouting sometime this year

While riding the monorail yesterday, the CM driver mentioned that it will close sometime soon to be rerouted. It's still unclear if that'll happen in April or at the end of the summer. But, if you haven't already heard, make no mistake: it's definitely coming.

It will be re-routed once the construction of the Eastern Gateway pedestrian bridge over Harbor commences...so once that project gets final approval and construction starts...yup, the Monorail is gonna be down for a while.

Great. We get the train back later this year but lose the monorail. Transportation options just continue to dwindle for PPH guests.

So, they didn't reroute the Monorail in order to build a theme park are a deluxe hotel, but they're gonna reroute it to build a bridge. I'm not sure I believe it.
