Monorail Christmas tour Dec 8 anyone?

Hello Everyone -

Anyone interested in joining me for a Monorail tour of the holiday decorations at the PR, GF, CON & WL. Ok, Wilderness Lodge is off the beaten track but their decorations are worth the trip.

Monday morning (Dec 8th). I thought I would do the monorail loop, stop for breakfast, shop a little if I must.

I will start at the Wilderness Lodge and take the water taxi to the MK, then hop on the Monorail.

I am staying at the Beach Club and have a car if anyone would like a ride.

Sounds cool, Cathy. What time are you thinking of getting started? Are you going to make PS for breakfast? I'll be over at the Boardwalk at that point, so I'll plan on joining you!

Hey Karen!

Love to have you join me. We will meet before the 8th...but let me know if you want me to give you a ride to the Wilderness Lodge Monday.

Now, as for time.....I am on vacation. Having said that...when I CAN sleep in....I am always awake at 5 am. Anyway, I was thinking about beginning with breakfast - 9 am at the Wilderness Lodge.

Have you ever experienced the...."experience" at Whispering Canyon at the Lodge? The only thing I will say is .... I will never ask for a BIG iced tea again!!! (laughed until I cried)

They have good variety of breakfast available there.....hearty to light fare. We can begin the voyage there. This way at the end, folks can pickup transportation back to their respective resorts at the Magic Kingdom if they wish.

I thought I would make PS arrangements Dec 3....before departing for Disney.

If anyone would like to join us later...they can just leave a message for me at the Beach Club and I'll adjust the PS.

Anyway........I hope we have a crowd!!

Well, count me in. I'm an early riser as well. I'll probably stick to a light breakfast, though. I'm planning on having lunch at the Kona Cafe that day. Yummy.

Hmmmm... I bet we run into you as dd has the pirate cruise that morning and I am thinking about wandering around the nearby resorts to see the decorations. I'll have lime green ribbon or a mickey head. maggie

I don't think I'll make the breakfast, which way will you be going from wilderness lodge? (ie: contemporary, grand floridian, polynesian, etc or the reverse direction) looking forward to running into you guys. maggie

Sorry you can't make breakfast but happy you will join us.

We will hop on at the Magic Kingdom and go from there to the C then Poly and the Grand Floridian. I will look for you along the way!
