Bring snacks to get you through until dinner time

Refill your water bottle at the fountain

Carry a decent backpack to haul your snacks around easily

Buy a turkey leg and share it. Good source of protein. Add potatoe chips and carrot sticks from back pack and it's a decent little meal.

Get your T-shirts and souvenirs outside the park

Buy a slicker at Walmart

Please add other tips.

No need to refill your water bottle. After some of the things I've seen, I won't go near a water fountain.

Every place that has fountain drinks will give you a cup of ice water for free.

What did you see at the fountain?

Ok then no fountain for me. She couldn't use a diaper wipe like a normal person or a change table provided by Disney? She definately had no thought to the next person to use it for drinking. Ok now that is the most disgusting thing I have heard.

A mother hosing down a child who's diaper "exploded."
YUCK! :scared1: What I usually see are kids who put their whole mouth on the thing like they have to suck the water out of it. And have you seen the chewed up food bits in there?!!!

I was with my two children last summer and we would get two cups of water, one we would share on the spot and the other we would use to fill our wattle bottle. Still refilling the bottle, still free, just not at the fountain! Sharing meals was a big thing for us. I had prepared my children starting a few months prior to the trip that sharing counter services would be helpful. Sometimes the 3 of us shared 1 meal (chicken/ribs, potatoes and green beans at Cosmic Rays was plenty to satisfy all of us yet still leave room for ice cream later on ;)!).

I got some great deals at Disneystore.com during Cyber Monday. There I got the kids small plushies for $3.33 each and I know the parks were selling the same ones for around $9.

Disneystore.com also has a great semi annual sale. I want to say it is in January and June.

Target has their semi annual toy clearance in January and July. They mark some of their clearance down 70% off. I got DD Joy, Sadness and Disgust plushies for less than $3.

We went in 2012 and actually bought the great majority of their souvenirs at Target, Big Lots, Dollar Tree, Costco and of course the Disney Store. Since they were pretty young, we put their Disney stuff in a bag and told them Tinkerbell brought it to their our room since they were good in the parks.

Along with souvenirs for the kids I've bought gifts for the folks back home before I've ever left. They never know the difference and I don't have to worry about fitting it in the luggage.

Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom cards are free! Also good deals can be found at the Disney stores at the Orlando outlet malls.
