money questions?

Could anybody tell me if they know if there is a money exchange office in DRLP?
Also has anybody been recently and could advise me if it is best to change money to euros in UK or France?
Any help much appreciated

I'm sure you can exchange money at your hotel and City Hall.
SIL in the past cashed her travellers cheques here but I remember that the exchange rate and commission were not good.
This is part of the reason I now just use credit card and debit card which get a much better rate of exchange... and plug for nationwide don't have any commission charge.
For our 11 day trip last year I think we had €100 in cash. €40 of which was set aside for peage
