In pre-Covid days, sailing on the Magic for Mediterranean and Transatlantic cruises, we were able to exchange US dollars for Euros at Guest Services. This was convenient since we only needed small amounts for gratuities for excursion guides and drivers and possibly for refreshments while off the ship where cash was much more convenient than using a credit card. They also would buy back unused Euros (excluding coins) at the same exchange rate, so a reasonable way to obtain them prior to getting off the ship at the first port of call rather than seeking out an ATM. We’re on Norwegian Fjords, British Isles, and Transatlantic, b2b2b, so we will likely need some Norwegian Kroner for the first, and Euros for the Ireland stop on the British Isles cruise and the stops in France and Spain at the beginning of the TA. We’ll have GBPounds already, since we’re doing four nights in London prior to the first cruise. There it will be worthwhile to hit up an ATM when we arrive. So, long story, does anyone doing a recent Magic cruise in Europe know if Guest Services is still in the money exchange business. I know the exchange rate is not as good as I would get at an ATM, but sometimes one pays for convenience. TIA.
