My DD's dance school has been selected to perform at one of the parks in the Spring. They want my DD9 to do a duo. I just want to know what your experience has been if your DD has done this at WDW?

We have to have all the paperwork in by the middle of September and I have to come up with the deposit then, so I'm really trying to decide :)

My DD's dance studio has performed at Disney several times. This coming June will be DD's second time. Before DD joined, they performed in the MK and I know the director didn't really care for that location. The last several times they danced in DTD. This coming June will also be in DTD. For our school the director chooses the dances, so if your DD was aked to do a duet, then I would think that is a request that comes from your dance director and not from Disney. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

Thanks for your prompt reply. Yes the dance choices are the Directors - she's also mentioning a possible solo since my DD did it last year at comp and got a Gold, we'll see!

How was the trip???? Did you bring the rest of the family??? How was the weather? There are a few dates being discussed one in April, May & June. Did the girls have time to spend at the parks or was it all rehearsal and such?

I'm going to be at the parks in May for a college reunion so I'm trying to decide on whether bringing the family then or waiting for when DD is dancing. DECISIONS! DECISIONS!

OH! What's the name of your DD's dance school?
