Hi!
This is my first go at any sort of trip report, so I thought I'd start with the pretrip! Be kind, and feedback about our itinerary is REALLY appreciated!
We've (I've) been wanting to go (back) to Disney for awhile now, but there was always something else to spend the money on. Well, this year I put my foot (and the nonrefundable deposit) down and Darn it! We are going to DisneyWorld!!!!
The Cast:
ME- 27,
Stay at home Mama. I live for my kiddos, and I'm already living my dream! My husband is so good to me, and works hard so I can raise em right!
I Have been to WDW quite a few times, but my last time was in 1996, our last trip with my beloved and much missed Papa. I've been blessed to have many awesome vacations in my lifetime, and unfortunately I tend to "overplan" too many activites on my vacations. I'm a get up and go! type vacationer.
DH- 31,
Never been to WDW, has hardly traveled out of the state! His idea of vacation is playing video games for 4 days straight, so we occasionally butt heads on vacation. He's a wonderful Hubby, an awesome dad, and a Sox Fan. Nuff said.
DSS- 11, aka Goob,
5th grade, VERY active
and also a Sox Fan. Baseball is life, except of course when the Pats are on and then Football is life. This trip is really for him, since there is such an age difference between him and the babies. I really wanted him to experiance WDW before he became a teen and didn't want to spend quality time with the family anymore
DD- 4, aka Tink,
Not in school yet, we spend our days doing laundry, drawing, playing games and watching PBS. Thank GOD for PBS. Shes growing up sooo fast and I cant stand it! Now, I know what you are thinking, she must be the princess of the family. This is true, she is definitely a princess. However, my little princess REFUSES to wear cute little dresses and currently shows NO interest in any of the Disney princesses. Nooooo, its all pants and cars and stuff like that. Hey, I was a tomboy too, but Cindy still has a special place in my heart, ya know? In fact, Tinkerbell is the closest shell get to liking a Disney Princess, and Tink fits her well. Mischevious, stubborn, sometimes bratty, most times sweet and ALWAYS sassy. Guess Tink is the nickname for this trip!
DS- 7 months (will be 11 months at trip time)
We call him a few names, including Stinky, or The Noisy One, depending on the situation. Well call him Squirt for Disney Moniker purposes though
Hes just tagging along, since the primary purpose is to show the older ones the magic of Disney. Hey
gives us an excuse to come back right?
Well that was drawn out! My goal is to have a bit of a journal here, and then my real trippie will have lots of pics, and Ill try to do a food report as well, though I dont know how many people will be interested in sugar free jello ;P
