The tutu turned out great! You did a fantastic job! They are fairly easy to make and I love the ribbon accents you put on.

Thanks! I made 3 more tutus for my daughter's Disney dolls. Now need to buy more material for Rachel's tutu.

We are loving the relaxation of no alarm clock, later bedtime, etc. So good to know we don't have to be up early (unless we want to!)

Thanks! It was fun and super easy to do -- just like you said! So far I made 4 of them (1 toddler and 3 doll-size).

Thanks for the info! Unfortunately our Michaels and AC Moore do not sell fabric so our Joann's won't accept their coupons on fabric purchases. Booooo!!!

They will only accept competitor's coupons on things they carry alike.

We do have a Benjamin Franklin craft shop that I need to check out. It's just old and dirty so I've only been there once. Maybe time to try again.

For the next hairbow, I won't make it as big -- that one is really poofy!! But the Barbie doll size tutu skirts should make perfect hair bows!

Oh, yeah. I rarely go to Walmart anymore but that is a great idea, too.

Probably is cheaper than Joann's regular price.

I am not a huge fan of Walmart but I do know they are cheaper than Joann's. Have you thought about looking on the Joann's website or Hancock fabrics website? A lot of times they have sales online that are far better than the prices in the stores.

I don't recommend our Walmart's fabric Dept. Unless you don't mind being thoroughly discouraged. I have bought fabric there 3 or 4 times and each time I was either overcharged or they cut it wrong. I only buy fabric from there if it is pre-cut but even then you have to be careful since it is sometimes not put in the system correctly and marked at the wrong price.

At Hancock's tulle is usually on sale or at least the last two times I have bought it, it was. Also at Hancock's they always have coupons in the store you can use if you don't have any.

Anyhow, there is one for 50% off on a cut of fabric and I have another for 50% off any one thing which includes fabric cuts. I was wondering if you wanted me to pick something up for you and mail it to you? Also Picaboo has a special going on of buy one get one with a photo book and a calendar if you are interested.

Thanks Michele for your kind offer!! I actually ended up getting 50% off and 40% off coupons for the 2 pieces of fabric that I needed, so just got them.

I think we have a Hancock Fabrics, too...will need to check them out.
