Hello, and thanks for a wonderful report as you know i have been following it daily... Im at work so i cant view the video but cant wait until i get home to do so and show my DD5princess:

Quick question that im sure i could find with some research....where do i get the boat to grand floridian.... years ago i remember the ferry to the TTT but didnt know realize their was a boat to the GF probably because i never did anything fun like this before!!

We have the 1900 Park Fair planned and before that BBB in DTD but i was thinking we could take the boat to MK from 1900 park fair and visit the park after?
Looked so nice.

Thanks sharing your memories!! :flower3:

Great update! I loved the tea party pics and your DD is adorable. I don't think I would spend the money to take DD to this tea Party though as she is 7. She still likes theprincesses but not as much as say Hannah Montana :sad2: . She thought the doll in the costume was the best part. For over $200 I can buy her 2 american girl dolls and costumes for each. I wish I had taken her when she was 4 though :goodvibes . I loved your slideshow !

I've been following your report and haven't said much since I just joined the boards. Just wanted to let you know I appreciate the info and pictures since we are going in May and my DD will be just 10 days shy of turning 4. She's a very shy girl so it helps so much to show her pictures of a another girl around her age with the princess and characters. She even asked if I could get her a dress like your daughter with the Little Mermaid on it. :rotfl: Everytime we look at your report we have to go back look at pictures of that dress.

Thanks for all of your hard work and looking forward to seeing the rest.

I agree that I probably would not spend the money if my DD was 7 either. I think the prime ages for this event are 4-6.

It is funny how we all prioritize our vacation spending though isn't it? While I had no problem reaching into my pocket TWICE to pay for the Princess Tea Party, I would not shell out for the Poly like you. (However, I intend to get back there at some point in the future on another trip).

Just spending one night at CBR over the Poly (let alone a full week's vacation!) pays for the Princess Tea!

Thanks for posting! I am honored that this is your first post.

May is a great travel time - you will have a great time! And it's not too far off now either!

Love, love love the detailed report of the tea party and all of the pictures! THanks for taking the time to describe it so well. :) I really enjoy following your adventures.

Yes, the girls got to keep the Dolls. It is included in the price.

(I can't even imagine the CMs trying to pry those dolls from the girls' hands after they became acquianted with them...the event would surely end in fights and tears every time - LOL!)

Nice trip report :thumbsup2:
The princess thing looks really neat! Did she get to keep the doll?

The boats to the Resorts are located very close to the ferryboat launch to the TTC. You will not miss them.

The Resort boats are more pontoon-style - much smaller, but also a bit more of an adventure.

I agree that you could do either BBB in DTD or BBB at the MK before the Tea Party. Although we had enough time with a 9am appointment at DDD, we certainly had to be efficient. If you did BBB at MK at 8am (they open 1 hour earlier than DTD), this would give you much more time. So the MK would be my choice.

Awwwww, what a beautiful event! I think you absolutely made the right decision to go back and do it again. The pictures are beautiful and it looks like a little girl's fantasy come true! Another thing I must add to my Mommy and Daughter trip in 2009!

Loving this report, can't wait for more!

Loved your update and the pictures from the tea party. I wish I would have taken Samantha when she was younger - she is 7 now and though she may enjoy it, I don't think it would be as magical. Your pictures were great!

Going back to watch the video now! :)

Hi I've been lurking! I really love this report!:thumbsup2 I am glad to see that you were able to recapture all those wonderful Disney memories!:yay:

Great video! I love the music - especially that last song - never heard that before. Looks like a great trip and fabulous memories for you and your daughter. I'm glad you were able to go back to recapture your pictures!

I am still hooked and the video made me tear up! I just love Disney, looking at pics from Disney and when you put them in a slideshow with Disney music -- bring out the tissues!!!!!

Thanks Michelle - the last song is Little Wonders by Rob Thomas (of Matchbox 20 fame). It is my DD's favourite song. It would really blow you away to hear her sing it -she knows a significant amount of the lyrics and she can break out and sing it anytime without background music.

The song is also on the Incredibles songtrack, although I have yet to see that movie -my kids are a bit too young.

I think "Little Wonders" is actually from Meet the Robinsons. My kids LOVE this song and I must admit that I love it too. :)

Thanks! I really enjoyed the tea party photos. I can't wait! We will be there on March 7th.

Yes, you are right. We haven't yet seen either of these movies so hopefully once we do I will remember!
