I know, my DH is double thinking it. I don't care either way, I have great seats on my couch and it will be on TV,

2 weeks!

I've done some packing, mostly travel size shampoo, hairspray, soap and stuff like that. I've made a list of outfits that are coming along, just need to ease them out of rotation and into the suitcase when Kadence isn't looking.
John is taking her along with him on the 18th when he goes golfing with a friend to I can really get 99 % of everything together.

I'm getting very happy!

on it being 2 weeks!!! Not long until you can reveal the surprise and see that keeping it a secret was soo worth it!

I've been snaeking toiletries into one of the bags after she goes to bed at night. I think my big issue may be getting her Cinderella dress packed. She has it hanging in her room on a hook and plays with it quite a bit. I may just say it's in the laundry!

Yep, that Cinderella dress does sound like an issue - saying it's in the laundry sounds like a good idea!

I've been a lurker for a while now but when I saw one of your posts and noticed the gap in your girls' ages I just had to read your TR to see how you balanced your visit.

OH MY GOODNESS thank you, thank you, thank you for the food pictures. I think food is my favourite part of any vacation and I love seeing what other people have munched on .

I cannot wait to read about your surprise trip, you must video Kadence's reaction at the big reveal and try to post it.

P.S. Is Sam crazy?! How could she expect you not to cry when you dropped her off at school!? I cried just reading about it!!

HI! Lurking is fun too! My girls are 10&1/2 yrs apart, I guess we had to wait for just the right girl

Funny thing, We go over the food pictures quite a bit. This is how I found out, (much too late to do anything about it) that O'hana was Kadence's favorite. Oh well, next time!

We do plan on video for the suprise reveal, just trying to make sure we are tapping when "IT" happens.

Sam is a funny girl, she knows me too well. I'm glad she's ok with everything, makes me even prouder!

Yeah...thats a polite way of saying I'm long winded! But thats OK, I do them for myself as much as for anyone else. 10 years from now, I'll read and know what we did. LOL! Every minute of the day.

Just popping in to say Hi! Glad you got Sammy off to college. It sounds like she is doing great. Kadence looked very cute on the first day of school. I have to ask if she came home with her clothes as white and clean as when she left. If that had been my DD she would have been filthy!

Hooray for the 2 week mark until your trip. Have a great time. I know I don't have to say take lots of pictures to share with us. Can't wait to read all about it when you get back.

Hello, back at you! Sam is enjoying being at school, and thank-you I think she's a cutie too!
She did come home clean, but was changed into playclothes 2 seconds after walking in the door. She loves to dress up and tries to stay clean for things like school, but if she's outside to play there's no stopping the dirt from finding her!

I am getting very antsy to get the bags packed! Just trying to keep things unnoticed too! The pictures will count into the thousands, good thing it's digital and I can delete the ones I don't want
