Samantha had a good day! We took her out to eat at the Texas RoadHouse. But, we weren't allowed to tell the waitress If they find out it's your B-day, they make you get on this saddle and yell YEEHAW! Then the all sing and call the attention of the whole place to ya!
She wanted NOTHING to do with that!

That sounds like fun! On the dancers first trip to Florida it was my birthday the night before we went home and we went to Hard Rock Cafe at universal studios citywalk and someone told them it was my birthday and they got me up on this little platform and gave me a big ice cream sundae and got the entire place to sing happy birthday to me! Was to funny! Luv when restaurants make a fuss like that!

I found it when looking for experiences around the same time that we are going next year. We are going the week following MLK.

I am borrowing your idea with the pearls and carriage cages, hope you don't mind. I have 4 daughters from age 1 to age 12. I thought this would make a perfect Christmas gift/souveneir, one that they can really keep (and add to). Just went to ebay and found the carriages, now I just have to keep it a secret all the way to Christmas. That will be a tough task.

I didn't get a call about my sd card today, so now I have to wait until Monday because they are closed.

Dairy Queen is a chain resturant here that sells soft serve ice cream, shakes, sudaes, cakes made from ice cream, and they also do the burger/fries thing as well.
I guess I forget sometimes that people from other parts of the world may not know of certain places!

I have some news about my SD card. It's not all lost, but not all found either. Apparently there is some coruption on the card, and the recovered a few pics from Sammy's party, as well as some old pics taken last year that I didn't need as I have them already. Couple photos are like in half.

The lab guy was saying how when you have a card you use in one type of camera, then you use it in a different camera without deleteing old files, the new camera can't read the files. What that had to do with my lost photos, IDK

The card has a scratch as well, which can cause issues. I don't know how it got a scratch, I take very good care of my cards, never let them sit out, always in a case when not in use.

Anyway, I have about 20 pics in total. Mostly just candids, so I'm thankful my sister got the cake ones at least.

I've got an update ready to go!

After the Castle show, we got some popcorn to share and decided to sit up on the Train Station platform to just sit and relax, people watch, and take it all in.



After a while the parade came through, so I decided to take some pics.
















By this time it was getting late enough to start thinking where to sit for the Main Street Electrical Parade. We decided to sit right where it comes out, which was right where we were!
While waiting we snacked and people watched some more. A family did try to sit in the street in front of us, but the nearby CM moved them before I could even say anything.
I brought out a glow wand and glow sticks for Kadence that I got from the Dollar Tree.



I got a few comments from other guests, wanting to know where I got it. They said that I had a great idea as the Disney stuff is much more money!

Me too, but lesson learned! The glow stick did have a star on it. I LOVE the Dollar Tree! I have a glow stick for Sept, it's a purple wand with a butterfly on the end. Plus a couple glow neclaces.

I have reformated all of my sd cards today. I threw out the card I erased, it was only a 1g, so not a huge loss. I want to get a 16G, My new camera is a Sony Cyber Shot hx9, and the bigger card will work better with it.

I love all the details! Kadence loves playing with glowsticks. I buy them for party favors, Halloween, night events, and sometimes just for fun. I can pick up a 6 pack for a $1, so thats a good deal!

You should be able to do that right with your camera. I just go into the menu and format it there.Check your camera users guide. Make sure you have all your pics off it it first

I happy that I got some back, and I want to thank YOU! I wouldn't have known pic could be recovered until you said something! I've never lost so many photos like that before. I back up as soon as I upload. I just burn a disk and put it away. If I lose the ones on the computer, the worst I have to do is re-edit.

The road sitters may have thought we'd move Guess what, I wasn't !
