Sorry i didnt respond sooner- been camping in door county all weekend and i am BEAT. EXHAUSTED.
i want to dress up, but im not sure how much room im willing to dedicate to a outfit. so maybe ill pack our packer gear and steal your idea. haha.

Yeah!! When we went to the party in 2006 it was SO hot (more like summer weather, but I don't think you'll have to worry about it being that bad) so we didn't dress up. Some people's costumes were pretty elaborate but I do remember seeing one huge family all wearing Colts jerseys and stuff. So I think your idea of going as a Packer fan sounds good!

I just can't see myself dressing in something that makes me warmer or itchy. I need to be comfortable, plus I'm not really a dress up kind gal. When we go Trick or Treating around town, the most I've ever done is wear a devil horn headband

ONE MONTH DANCE​

I can't believe in month, I will be Disney again. My DH and I are really looking forward to this. I'd like to say so is Kadence, but she don't know nut-ing honey!

I wonder just how long we can keep her in the dark. Personally, I like to get all the way to WDW. I'm guessing it's gonna come out at the airport. I'm going to make her a shirt and as soon I get it done I'll post it.


We are going to tell Sammy on Thursday. Keep your fingers crossed that she's ok with it all. We had talked about her going off to college the ohter day, and how she would like to spring break with friends in the futurescared1 so I asked, DISNEY?? She did admit, that she wasn't really a Disney person( what kind of kid did i raise) so maybe that will be good.

Now, off the decide when and how to pack in the next few weeks without Kadence noticing

I think Sam will be fine esp as she has said she is not a Disney person!!! How can that happen? I'm guessing each to their own and you never know she may return to Disney one day.

Good luck with the packing. I like the idea of DH taking Kadence out for some fun time and then you rushing around the house getting everything together before she gets back. Not long to go now!!!!

Guess what! We told Sammy today about the trip and ...............................
























She was fine with it! We had a nice time reminessing all the things we've done with her when she was little and discussed that it was Kadence's time to have some fun times and she was great about it all!
Sam's excited to see how Kadence reacts to the suprise, and is happy for her.

I guess my stomach in knots all day was all a waste of engery on my part


My TA called and said our Disney documents are in I will be getting them on Monday, and then I'm going to start packing. I'm going to keep things in Sam room with the door locked. There is no reason for Kadence to be in there anyway!


26 days tomorrow!


Oh Yea, I'm taking Sam to college tomorrow! My truck runeth over with lots of stuff, (who needs 10 huge purses?) I'm not allowed to cry, per Sammy, but we'll see!

Kadence is a nosey little booger, and yes anything Sam leaves laying around does find it's way into Kadence room or toybox!
Sam gave her some stuffed animals to "watch over" while she was gone and Kadence said that sissy wasn't getting them back!

It is good, I just didn't want hurt feelings. My feelings will be on disply enough tomorrow. We did tell her that we'd like to go during the one of the MVMCP's in the future and that I'd like for her to be there for that.

I'm so ready to go! Sam's college is in Fond Du Lac, so that puts her about an hour and 20 mins away from home. She be home at least twice a month for work, so that will be nice!

Hello All! Yesterday went well. It was just a long day with moving in, parent meetings and of course the emotion of the day. I may have had a tear or 2 during the day, but nothing that would cause people to point and stare

I thought I 'd share a few pics. Here is Sammy's dorm room. Notice how she has to climb to reach the top!





Her tiny closet, she doesn't know she's going to keep all of her shoes which fill a storage tote! Also notice the top shelf, she has 6 purses there, one hanging on the hook and one one the desk. I guess they are important to have.......LOL



They had a pinning ceremony in which you become an offical Marian student, and you get a pin from the President of the college. It's set up like a graduation ceremony with your name being called and such.





And of course, what kind of Mom would be if I didn't get a photo in front to the school sign?




Funny thing...as we were unpacking and setting up her desk, she asked me to set up her wireless network. I asked where she put her laptop......She forgot it at home! Good thing she's coming home today for a minute on her way to help a friend move into her dorm!


I think I'm going take a nap now, I didn't get home until after 10pm ( I was up at 6am)and I feel wiped.

Hmmmm.... should I feel bad that I don't remember my mom crying when she dropped ME Off at school???? And I wasn't going home until Thanksgiving!
