My 16 year old son informed me that when the dog shakes himself he hears jingle bells
! So I look at him and laugh. He says (in an annoyed 16 year old tone), "I'm not kidding, I hear jingle bells."
So we spend a few minutes trying to make him shake himself, blowing in his face, getting him rowdy etc... I hear his nails pitter patter on the floor, I hear his ears flop, but I don't hear jingle bells. I admit I do have some hearing loss, so maybe I just can't hear it.
So after some blowing and playing to make him shake, my son has isolated where the sound seems to be coming from. He points to the dog's back and makes a line across his back from one side to the other, about 3 inches from his tail. "It sounds like it's coming from this area!". So now I'm lifting his rear section up and shaking him to try and hear the darn jingle bell!
Great. I'm thinking, "Oh Crap." both figuratively and literally. I keep looking at the dog wondering where on earth he might have found a jingle bell to swallow. He must be gearing up for Christmas
