MOM! We are going to see the flowers! A May 2012 Mother/Daughter PTR! 4/20/12 UPDATE!

Hello and to a mother/daughter PTR!
This is my 2nd PTR and I couldn't be happier that I am able to share it with anyone who is reading along!!!
Let's start with introductions...
This is momma bear and I

My mom is Rosemarie. A fabulous 50 something Nyer. She was a stay at home mommy for my brother and I. After we went on to college, my mom became an associate for Pier 1!

I am Christina. A 26 year old Social Worker. I am also a stylist for a wonderful company called Stella&Dot. I am also a newlywed.

My mom and I are Disney OBSESSED and have always "dreamed" of taking a mother/daughter trip to the world of magic. However, we always felt guilty not going with my dad and brother.
My mom also always has wanted to go to "Epcot, for the flowers".
As life would have it, Hubby and I are new DVC members! Just in time for the flowers! hehe. So i booked my mom and I a mini girls getaway to see the flowers!!

She is so excited! I am so excited too!!!
Did i mention we are HUGE dorks???
We even got matching tattoos before my wedding...

Let's talk when and where.

We will be going from May 8th until May 11th.
We will be staying at

We have never been here before and we are looking forward to giving it a try! looks beautiful in pictures!

Arrival day!!!

So we are leaving on a tuesday! My father and brother will be taking us to the airport as it is "kind of" on the way to work!
We will be flying

I have every intention of having breakfast here

Mom probably will have oatmeal here!
I know she will then go to the magazine store and either buy a book that she will read in a day or more magazines.
I should mention, we really want to try to do carry-on for this trip, but we shall see! I did it once, i am sure i can do it again!
We, of course, plan on taking this beautiful baby!

It will be a matter of slow-moving minutes until we see this beautiful sign!

We will excitedly await our arrival to Saratoga Springs!

Whether our room is ready or not, we plan on heading right down to

What are everyone's suggestions?
After we are down at the Downtown, we will go back to the hotel and explore a bit! We decided to keep the night open, maybe have dinner at the hotel or room service. We shall see!

I also sent my mom a newsletter this week!!!
She was SO excited!!!!

I am going to send her one for each day!!!
Our next day will include the flowers at epcot and surprise for momma!

good morning everyone!!!
I can't believe our trip is coming upon us so soon!!!

Let's get started with the updates!!!!!
So i made an AWESOME change to our trip this week!!
The place!!!
I was able to book us a 1 bedroom villa at....

WAHOOOO!!! I saw that it was available on the DVC site and called RIGHT away! They were able to make the switch for us NO problem!
I practically grew up here and I LOVE it here SO much! Which means, momma bear LOVES it so much! I was thinking about waiting until we got there to tell her, but, there was NO way i could keep that secret!! She was SOOOOOOOOO excited when i told her!!!

We also did some shopping and outfit planning over the weekend! We plan on taking Carry-on bags for this trip!

So Day 1....
We plan on starting our day at

Not sure if we will be grabbing breakfast here or before at the BW. We will see what the morning brings! We would like to mainly stay at WS and do a little bit of FW.
We will be leaving mid-afternoon for a big surprise (that i AM keeping) for mom! We will have to go to

I booked my mom an apt with the disney florist for the disney floral experience!!!

I am SO excited for her!!! I think she is going to FREAK out!!!!!
She (as you may have gathered) LOVES flowers and planting and arranging! So, this will (hopefully) be PERFECT for her!
We will go back to the BW for a quicjk change and to drop of her floral arrangement and back to epcot we go!
Dinner and illuminations is what we will be excited for!

Ahh! Can't wait!!!!!!

Oh I found it yay!! Following you over from the wedding trip, so excited to follow you here, we are BCV members, so I'll really love this. We've stayed at the BW too, it's so nice. And sooooo happy you didn't have to stay at SSR, I stayed there once and hated it, the Boardwalk is so much nicer.
