For those of you who dont know us already, here is the who:
Me, Amy, 36, part-time bookkeeper, part-time volunteer, full-time mom, Disney-planning fanatic! (And now a proud annual passholder!)
(Wearing my new glasses.)
DH, Tim, 36, very, very, full-time IT Engineer. I'm sorry to say that amongst my almost 1000 pictures, I can't find a close-up picture from this year's trip!
But I'm sure I'll find one when I get my hands on DMIL's camera... she probably took more pictures than me. In the meantime, here is a picture of Tim when we went to the local children's museum a couple months ago. (And me with my old glasses).
Our boys
This is how we usually see them:
DS9, Alexander, super smart 3rd grader who says it like it is! He loves any sport with a ball, and swimming diagnosed with PDD-NOS/Autism Spectrum Disorder at 2 years old. Recently discovered Star Wars characters.
DS6, Zach, very loving, sensitive kindergartner who tries to please everyone. He loves Club Penguin, Phineas & Ferb and Go-gos Crazy Bones. Zach may or may not be on the autism spectrum... the professionals just can't seem to agree... but he does have many features of autism, including sensory issues.
DMIL, Gramma Nancy, 66, RN who really needs to retire! We couldnt live without her!! She spent a week with her mother (GG, 90 years old) in Vero Beach before joining us for our week in Orlando.
We also spent a few days with DHs brother, Jeff, his girlfriend, Karen and Jeffs kids, J (17) & K (14). We stayed at their place on the west coast of Florida for three nights, then they joined us in Orlando for three nights. Here is a group shot that Tim took:
J wasnt there for the picture so heres a picture of him:
Jeff & Karens dog, Jake:
If you want to read more about our previous adventures or the planning of this trip, you can check out my other PTRs & TRs (links below in my signature).
When & where:
Thursday, April 22nd Sunday, May 2nd. First three nights at Jeff & Karens house, followed by 7 nights in a 2BR unit at the Sheraton Vistana Resort in Orlando.
Why the title: We all experienced some new things this year, especially Zach! The title is an actual quote from Zachary on our last day.
Thanks for reading!
