POP will be fun. My DD LOVES POP and my kids are convinced it has the best food court. It's a very fun resort. One of my dear friends who has quite a large disposable income always stays at POP and they could afford to stay anywhere they wanted to. The pool is so great....the decor is really fun....the food court is good. What's not to love?

I think I am still just upset that I am not staying at Poly but Pop looks like a lot of fun and I have heard fantastic things about their food court!!!

So looking forward to meeting you all!!!

Yep I will be at Disney and now reading up on Pop I am excited.... I think I am going to request Building 1 since Emma loves Lady

We are another family that loves Pop Century. We have stayed at other resorts, Bill has stayed at AKL and GF and still loves Pop. The atmosphere is just upbeat and happy.

I loved staying in the 50's section and seeing Lady and Tramp every morning. I also love how friendly the CM's at Pop are. We can't wait to go back.

I am positive that the girls are going to love POP!! Because we are paying for this trip for my parents too, it is less expensive for the 5 of us to stay in one room at POR than to pay for two rooms at POP.

I am also hoping that we bump into each other at Epcot on the 10th!!

Emma's Fav is Lady, she sleeps with the lady that we bought last trip every night. She says she need to get Lady her husband this trip and every time I show her pics of Pop and she sees Tramp she makes Lady kiss the computer screen

I'm learning that sometimes when something seems to have gone wrong, it really ends up being better. It's helping me to accept and adjust to things that haven't gone as I have planned.

When we stayed at POP last year, it would not have been my choice, but because my dear friends wanted to stay there and because we were trying to be on a budget, we booked there. My DD was so happy and excited to be there....my DS LOVED the food court, and DH loved that it cost so much less.....and my REAL joy comes from seeing my family happy, so it was all for the best in the end.

That's where we were last August, building 1, third floor with a view of the parking lot. It was the best! Quiet yet close to everything.

So I did a lot of thinking today and I figure it's more important to actually go to WDW then where we sleep. The spending money was dwindling to pay off the trip so I moved us to Pop Century and upgraded to the regular dining plan. I am a little upset cause I was really starting to look forward to POR and getting over not staying at the Poly but I will get over it.

None of my plans that I have posted to date have changed except if I put rest at POR it's now rest at Pop and I don't have to leave Pop on the morning of the 10th to go check in at POR.

I am just happy that I get to go (sort of like being happy to be nominated)

You're still in the "I'm going to Disney" category, so don't feel too bad. You got over not being able to stay at Poly, so you'll be ok this time.

OK, I have only read the 1st cheat link about your previous trips, but I see you went last Dec. Can you tell me about the weather. I keep forgetting that this may not be shorts and tank weather, and would love to heare what you thought of it. I bet our "Northern weather" is similar. We live in NW Ohio, so a little south of you, but we still get the horrid cold winters at times and lots of snow some years too.
