Mom/Daughter Spring Break trip to Disney & Sea World (UPDATE: Peru)

Just joining in on the fun. I love all of your pics, especially the SeaWorld ones. I'm also a single mom so I know how it is to scrimp and save for a vacation. We went to SW for the first time last Sept and had a blast. I also sat out Manta while my kids rode, you're right it's too hot in the waiting area outside the ride, I kept going into the aquarium nextdoor but was afraid that I would miss them coming out if I lingered too long. We also ate breakfast at CP during our trip...I love Pooh... he & Piglet had a play fight over me, it was hilarious.

I can't wait to read about the rest of your trip.

I didn't even realize that they do this at different times during the day...I thought it was just one set time...no wonder I couldn't figure out what you were talking about. With it being Spring Break, maybe they added a couple extra time slots. But this one started at 10:00am, and they had a couple more scheduled throughout the day.

We went to Haunted Mansion. It said a 20 minute wait, but it seemed more like it was probably 30 minutes. We got stuck here for about 15 minutes!

Hoping to get caught up on my TR! Everything has been so hectic, with Prom, end of school year stuff, planning trip to Peru in a few weeks, etc.

I was kinda disappointed with the few amount of photopass phographers at MK. At the character photo spots, there were hardly any photographers, so most of them were just taken with my camera.

I don't have many pictures of MK after the sun went down, and we were pretty much dragging toward the end of the day. We stayed from open until close, and were exhausted!

On our "rest" day, we decided on Chef Mickey's, and that's really the only thing we knew for sure we were planning for that day. While making our plans, we had to consider we were going to be in MK the day before, from open to close, so we would just sleep in, rest, and do whatever... So we went to Downtown Disney again....

We arrive at the Contemporary Resort for Chef Mickey's. I really didn't care for the food much, but the desserts were really good and the character interaction was great!

We walked around the resort and gift shops, and we took the elevator up to the 14th floor and went outside on the balcony to check it out. It was beautiful!

We went to our hotel and went ahead and packed some of our stuff so there wouldn't be so much to worry with since we'd be at AK the next day from open to close.

Silly Bands and a Big Red Box


Found some Disney character silly bands today at Wal Mart for $4
I bought some for DD's birthday: Mickey & Friends, Princesses, and Fairies. They also had Toy Story 3 and Cars.
