After Beauty and the Beast, we did a little shopping and came upon the Planet Hollywood store. I loved the movie props:

Gremlins!!

Popeye! (I loved this movie!)

Power Ranger outfits. I couldn't believe how small they were!!

We then made our way to the Great Movie Ride, with no wait!

Love this!

We then went through the new Legend of Jack Sparrow show. It was pretty boring though!

Me & DD went along by ourselves for a bit, and we decided to all meet back up after dinner.

First up, to ride Toy Story Mania! Love it!

The stand by wait time was 65 minutes, so we waited. It wasn't too bad of a wait, because we enjoyed all the cute details:

We then headed over to Pizza Planet!

We always like sitting upstairs, it's less noisy.

Then, we went to see the Muppet Vision 3D.

We made our way over to the Star Tours area, and they were having a stage show, so we watched most of that, then my DD talked me into going on Star Tours! I did not like it at all! I felt so claustrophobic, dizzy, and sick feeling. And it was so hot & stuffy in there! .

We met back up with the others, so they could all ride the Rock n Rollercoaster. Well, all of them, except for me & Aunt's son! Another ride I just can't bring myself to try!

Then we all rode Toy Story Mania again:

And to end our night, we went to see Fantasmic!!

Sunday, June 23rd: Our "non-park" day!

Even though this was our non-park day, we had a fun-filled day planned.
First, we went to the Polynesian Resort for breakfast and to meet up with a Dis-er friend (KatGarcia).

We had breakfast here:

After breakfast, we decided to browse around the gift shops while waiting on Kathy. While we were in there, she found us and we just had a wonderful chat and hung around for a little bit. They were headed to MK, so we got a few pics!

So that was a fun, little meet-up with them!
(But it wouldn't be our last time seeing them on this trip!)

Our next stop was the place that I had been looking forward to so much!!

Theme Park Connection! For those who have never heard of this place, it's a warehouse type store that sells a ton of Disney memorabilia and theme park items.

It was in Winter Garden (since then, they have moved to a different location), so it took us about 45 minutes to get there.
It was a nice ride there, as we seen a lot of gorgeous Florida homes and landscapes!!!

Loved this section of Pirates of the Caribbean props!

I could have spent many more hours in there! But DD was ready to go, and find a place to eat!!

Looks like you girls had a lot of fun at DHS. I love the TSMM photos. I’m so hungry right now - I wish I was eating a caesar salad and pizza! I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy Star Tours - we love it, but I know that it’s not for everyone. The RnRC pics were really fun! I haven’t been in there since my first trip - still waiting for DD to be tall enough; she cannot wait to do it!

I love reading about non-park days. This is something that I need to learn how to incorporate into our trips. What a great idea to go to the Poly for breakfast! And how fun to have a DIS meet too! I LOVE your popcorn pic from DTD - maybe I am even more hungry than I thought?

Back with an update! It's been busy and a lot going on lately.

DD got a new job!
I got a "new-to-me" car!
I made final (hopefully... ) plans for our upcoming trip!
And work has been hectic as usual!

So I'm hoping to get this TR done before the next trip!


When I left off, we were leaving Theme Park Connection.
We then wanted to find a "different" place to eat. We found a neat little pizza place and thought we would try it. It was a "coal-fired" pizza place! We had never had that before. So we were all excited (and mostly silly about it) and I took a ton of pics, as if I was in Disney! (It might not be Disney, but it's still vacation!! )

I fell in love with this place, the food, and the decor!!!

And our appetizers came out! You can't tell much by the pic, but we had this plate with chicken wings and onions (that are also coal-fired), bread and sauce! Yummy

And ooohhhh, the pizza! So delicious!

So we had a little leftover that we took back to our hotel, and we rested for a while, and DD took a nap.

After we got a little rest, we decided to go to Animal Kingdom Lodge to check out the animals, gift shop, and the resort. We stayed there a couple years ago and loved it!!

We stopped by the bar because DD wanted a non-alcoholic drink. It was pretty good. Don't remember what it was, but it was mainly fruit juice since no alcohol was added, but it was good!
