Mom/Daughter duo goes to Disney again: To Celebrate BOTH our graduations!

What a fabulous day!!! Love that you did the Animation Academy 3 times!

I can't do Star Tours either. I know it and still mom gets me to go back. I can't do it again.

Sci Fi is lots of fun, the artichoke dip is delicious. Mom had to have a blinky glass too

She loved Animation Academy and just today was saying she wondered how many character drawings we could get done on this trip! (If it's not too crowded, I feel like we'll be there half the day!!)

I can't do Star Tours either!

I loved Sci Fi, but the one thing I forgot to mention is that I think their portions are kinda small for the price!! But it was still a great place to go!

I feel the same way when I ride Star Wars...

The only way I can do rides like that is to take Bonine (motion sickness medicine) and it really does help... No for me!!!

Thursday, June 27th, 2013:

Our final Disney day!!



We had an ADR for 1900 Park Fare. This was the first time we had been there!

When you check in, they direct you to a waiting area where they take photopass pics:

Loved the character interactions!

After breakfast, we walked around the Grand Floridian and I took a ton of pics! This place is beautiful!!

So, then we decided to go back to DTD for some last minute shopping.
(I love late departures! Gives us time to fit in some last minute Disney time!!!)

Remember how I met Kathy at the beginning of our trip?
Well, we ran into each other at Goofy's Candy! Totally unexpected!!
How cool was that!?

So of course we ended up talking and taking lots of pictures, and DD playing with Kathy's sweet DD.

And then sadly & too quickly, our Disney trip came to an end!

I can't believe our next trip is in 1 day!!!!!

We leave tomorrow for our next Mom/Daughter Disney adventure!

This trip I had wanted to take to celebrate my 40th birthday!!
But my actual birthday was last weekend and also DD's finals was that week! So there's no way we could have went on my actual birthday. Going this week worked out pretty good. With us both starting new jobs recently, I was kind of worried about both us getting the time off.
We actually have changed our trip plans around a few times because of our schedules. But our final plans are:

Arriving tomorrow night! (Late, so we won't have time to do anything)

Tuesday: Epcot & ADR for Via Napoli (but I'm considering cancelling it because DD thinks she'll be trying out a ton of food samples at the Flower and Garden Festival and may not be so hungry for an "expensive" meal! )

Wednesday: MK (Hoping for a soft opening of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!!)

Thursday: HS & ADR for Boma breakfast (We've had dinner there, but not breakfast)

Friday: Late departure (again!), so maybe some time for DTD

Also, a couple of meetings with some Dis-friends!


This will be the shortest trip we've planned, but no doubt, we'll have a blast!!!
And hoping for low crowd levels!

Sitting at the airport bored I had to report that something very disney- ish is going on at the airport. They have a bunch of disney related balloons and Cinderella is here! I'm thinking it might be make a wish thing but I got a few pics and can't wait to find out what's going on. Cause whatever it is, it's on our flight!

We had a great time! It's been so hectic since we got back, I haven't had time to get more pics up! But hoping to get things caught up this weekend!

I wanted to pick up where I left off with some pictures of Cinderella at the airport!!! I was thinking it was probably the "Make a Wish" program, but they did an announcement welcoming the little girl, etc, and it's actually the "Sunshine Foundation", which is a similar program. They had balloons, a red carpet, and even fire trucks saluting by spraying water on our plane! We couldn't really see it on our departure since it was dark, but on our way returning, the little girl was on our return flight, also, and we could see it then (and I got a pic). I thought it was neat how that family had the same flights that we did!!!!

So here's a few pics!

Seeing that was such a great start to our vacation!!!!

Hoping to get a new TR started for our recent trip! We had a great time!



Just a few highlights that I'll include in my TR:

We had great weather! No rain at all!

We met up with my Dis friend, Pam!

I did have one complaint at Pop, but it was quickly taken care of.

No luck on riding the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

Low wait times!! (but a little more crowded than I thought it would be)


And I finally went on a ride that I have always been scared to go on!!!
