Mom/Daughter duo goes to Disney again: To Celebrate BOTH our graduations!

After Rainforest Cafe, we met back up with our group for Festival of the Lion King show:

Then the kids wanted to ride the Kali River Rapids. The wait was only 20 minutes, so me and my aunt let them all go and we stayed behind!

Who eats Pringles chips on the Kali River ride???????
We thought that was too funny!!

And lastly, we went back to EE!! LOVE it!!

We ended our AK day with a little shopping!!

Tuesday, June 25th, 2013


On this day, our family & friends were heading back home, so the next few days was back to just me & DD.

We went back to MK:

Our first stop was to see Mickey, since there was only a 20 minute wait!

Made our way to get Dole Whips!!!

Then to Pirates of the Caribbean:

When we came out, it was raining!

So we hung out in the gift shop during the short downpour!

We made our way to Enchanted Tales with Belle. This was the first time we had been there. It was a 30 minute wait, not too bad.

Loved the cute details & decor!

Then we made another trip for Lefou's Brew!

And a sweet snack!

Then, we went into the gift shop nearby, that has all the Beauty & the Beast merchandise. Everything was just so neat & beautiful!

We were also waiting for Gaston's scheduled appearance. It was a cute, funny interaction!

We decided to take the Fantasyland Station train

We made our way to the front of the park, and caught the ending of the show.

We hung out in Tomorrowland

And went to Starlight Cafe for some food!

Don’t you just love Tusker House??? We went for the first time last year, and it is a total “must do” for us from now on.

Looks like you had a great day at AK! Plenty of character meets, lots of rides, a show or two, and a couple of good meals - I’d say you did well!!!!

Yeah, and I feel so "unprepared" for this trip! With our work/school schedules, I haven't had as much time to put into planning as usual. But only 2 more days of work, then VACATION time!! So I can get last minute stuff done!!!

Our 2nd HS day!

We went to see the Monsters University characters. This is when the movie first came out, so we were excited to see them!

Cute new decor!

We found a couple of Green Army Men!

We ended up here, and debated about going on Star Tours!

Yep, she talked me into it!

I didn't like it at all!
I guess it was being "closed up" for too long, and it was so hot in there! I couldn't get out of there quick enough! I couldn't even look at the screen, I was getting dizzy and "panicky". No more for me!

We ended up here:

And went to the Animator's Academy.This was our first time doing this.
And we had so much fun. DD loved it!

When we finished up with drawing Daisy, we went back to wait to go again, and we got Dopey this time!

We had an ADR for Sci-Fi, and it was the first time we had been there!

To start off, DD got a milkshake, and I got a drink in a glow cup!!
Yeah, I'm a big kid!

Our waitress offered to take our pic.

Watched the films while we waited!

DD got a pasta dish

And I got the buffalo chicken bites and fries.

We went to see the Muppet Vision 3D. Never gets old!

We went to see this Animation class/show, and I don't remember what it's called, but it was the first time we had been there

DD wanted to see the characters

And Mickey!

And then we went to the drawing class........AGAIN! That's how much DD loved it!

This time we got Tinkerbell

We went to see Voyage of the Little Mermaid.

And use our Fastpasses for Toy Story Mania

And finished up our day at HS!

After leaving HS, we went to DTD. DD wanted Earl of Sandwich!

And to top the night off.............

I can't do Star Tours either. I know it and still mom gets me to go back. I can't do it again.

Sci Fi is lots of fun, the artichoke dip is delicious. Mom had to have a blinky glass too

I feel the same way when I ride Star Wars...

The only way I can do rides like that is to take Bonine (motion sickness medicine) and it really does help... No for me!!!
