Lunch looked scrumptious! There's a similar restaurant in Epcot called Via Napoli, so good! We were thinking of going there on our next trip!

It's in Orlando, probably about 20 minutes from Disney. We love doing off-site things and finding new places!

After we left AKL, we went back to DTD and just shopped around. I didn't take any more pics this day. We sat & relaxed at the DTD stage, you know where they have the dance party most nights? Always love the dance party there!!!

Monday, June 24th: Animal Kingdom!

On this day, we met back up with family & friends for most of the day, and for a character breakfast at Tusker House!

We met up and went to Tusker House. We love this place!

As you arrive, Donald is waiting outside for pics. He was peeking around the corner as we arrived! So cute!

Yummy!

Character interaction is always great when we go there!

More yummy-ness!

Time just goes by so fast! Hard to believe DD is finishing up her first year at Tech college!! And this trip is coming up too quickly! I'll be already back before U know it!

After Tusker House, we all went to the safari ride. It was a 40 minute stand by wait, which wasn't too bad!

I always want to ride on the back row! I love looking out the back with no obstructions!

Then we went on Expedition Everest. The wait was pretty long but we took the stand by entrance of 65 minute wait time. Wan't too bad though.

We then made out way over to Dinosaur

Looks like lots of fun was had today. Long waits are much more tolerable when you have people to stand in line with.

You should try Tusker House! It's now one of our favorites!! And the juice is the same! I LOVE it!

We had fun! We liked going with family & friends, but we still love our mom/daughter only trips best!!

After photos with Mickey & Minnie, we wanted to go to different places to eat. DD and I wanted to try the Rainforest Cafe since we had never been to that one, and the rest of family & friends went out on their own.

On our way, we came across King Louie and Baloo! First time getting pics with them!! DD was having a fun time with them, because I wanted her to get a pic with just King Louie because I was remembering an old photo of when she was 3 years old. I got her a King Louie plush and she loved that thing!! And still to this day she has it sitting on her bed! So I wanted to get a pic of them two, and compare it to the old photo when we got back home.

Baloo was acting all jealous because she was trying to get a pic with only King Louie!

And the pic I was waiting for....

To compare it with this one! I love it (Pic isn't too clear cause it was scanned from the pic that was soooo long ago! )

That was such a fun character interaction. To see my 18 year old having that much fun with the characters is just priceless!!

We then made it to Rainforest Cafe and only had to wait about 15 minutes! I was surprised since we didn't make ADR's, just decided at the last minute!

I had chicken & potatoes. It was sooo good!

Then a non alcoholic pina colada to share!

When DD was in restroom, I had told our waiter that we were celebrating her graduation and recent birthday, and at the end of our meal, they brought her a cupcake!

We really enjoyed the Rainforest Cafe at AK. I liked it better than the DTD location!
