. We, unfortunatly did not get to stay at GKTW because it was full when we went, but really enjoyed our time there. Can't wait to see what your villa looks like, glad you got what you wanted.

Oh well, no time to pout. So, I told myself to 'suck it up' and off to GKTW we went
A quick stop at Walmart on the way (does every Wish family going to GKTW stop at Walmart on their way?????) and.......who do I catch a glimpse of but..........StefaniLyn's 3 daughters and their Dad on their way out of the store!!! There is no doubt in my mind. I've seen those girls before!! My dh has gone in the store leaving me sitting curbside in the "van" (gulp) with the kids. The security guy keeps on giving me the evil eye. I watch Bella's clan come out of the store and cross to the parking lot. I start the engine........circle the parking lot like a shark until I catch them on the other side and roll down my window. "Aren't you Bella's dad?" I ask. The guy must've thought I was a nut, stalking him in the parking lot like thatAnyway, long story short he of course says "yes" and tells me that Stephanie is waiting for them in the car at the other end of the lot. I tell him to send her a big hello from me (who knows if he even remembered my name) and let him loose. Too funny huh?????? Definately some good karma to start the trip.

When he got back to the car he was like "um . . . somebody named Pamela said to say Hello." And I, practically foaming at the mouth with the prospect of my FIRST DISmeet of our trip, was like "realllllllllly? where is she? is she still in there? what does she look like? can I go say HI to her?" Yea, um, the poor guy just ran arould Wally-World with 3 crazy little girls while I waited on hold with WDW Lost and Found in the minivan and now I want him to point out a complete stranger so I can go chit chatting and leave him to deal with the crazy kids again? He rolled his eyes at me as if to ask if I was serious! DH looked just iritated enough that he might actually leave me there in the Wal-Mart parking lot so I reconsidered and told him I'd message you on the boards when we got back (which, I obvoiusly forgot to do!). his response was more eye rolling . . . and then he returned to playing Super Mario Brothers on the Wii!
As part of this party we would find ourselves treated to a fancy holiday meal (served by students of a local culinary institute), gingerbread cookie decorating, a parade/party and a visit by the red-suited Santa Claus himself (complete with presents for all
). They predicted, in fact, that perhaps some SNOW would fall 
(but of course, being from the north, we weren't so sure what all the fuss was about
). So, once unpacked and dressed up warm, we headed out to start the festivities.

That's just a very large gingerbread man staring into a video camera and gesturing to the cameraman (dh) that he wants to give him a hug!!!!!!!!!!!!

laughing...............................following Entertainment Mary..................walking through the village on our way to the party. On our way Matty, in all his Gingerbread Man finery, is getting quite alot of attention from children and parents alike; pointing and giggling and commenting on how 'cute' and 'sweet' he looks. "Wow, everyone really likes you" Nicholas keeeps saying to Matty. As we approach the courtyard in front of the Safari Theater we notice that there are crowds of people gathered for the fun. A line has already formed to visit Santa. Music is playing. People are laughing. And.......................suddenly............................we feast our eyes upon a very large...................GINGERBREAD MAN!!!!! A very large gingerbread man who just as suddenly spies Matty walking toward him and...............starts jumping up and down and waving his arms with excitement!!! He throws his arms open wide, gives himself a hug and then throws Matty many many many kisses! At first Matty stops, turns around and looks at me, eyes wide in disbelief (which may not have been caught in this picture, but I clearly remember those eyes):
The reaction on the faces of the other people around us were just as priceless. When the two actually met. It just seemed like magic for everyone around.
