Final thoughts this trip and upcoming ones:
* 6 Days is too much for us. We need 3 nights, 4 days max. Unfortunately, I've already booked and paid for a longer trip (same as this one) in December.
* We need down time! I'd planned this one to go go go, forgetting that I'm not walking - SHE is.
* We didn't see any of the trash or witness any rude cast members. We DID see a couple of parents who make you wonder why they had kids. Them yelling at and hitting their kids really is awful to witness.
* Split stays are draining. Thank God we're doing ONE resort in December.
* I'd avoided doing sit down restaurants to save time, but we NEED those breaks, so next time, we'll do all the meals.
* I think we'll basically avoid summers from now on. We'd like to go every 3-4 months, so after our Dec trip, we might do early or mid March, early June, and late Sept/early Oct.
* Not political - about the policies, etc. Our N95 masks in summer heat are brutal, and we just felt at some points, it was too crowded outside not to be in one, so we wore them when it bottlenecked. It also felt weird having to wear one on a quick outdoor coaster like Big Thunder, but being able to not wear one for an hour in a crammed restaurant like Tony's. Head scratcher. But we just did what we were told and had a good time anyway. I will also say there wasn't a single line or moment when I didn't see several people with them hanging on their chin or pulling them down to sneeze or cough or whatever, so it all seemed pointless to be mandatory and I wouldn't wish the policing of it on cast members.
Anyway, we loved it in spite of a few mishaps. I'm looking forward to our Dec trip. I plan to sleep in and enjoy those Deluxe resort extra magic hours later at night instead. Hoping we'll be able to ride rides easier during those time and avoid the 60 minute wait times during the brutal parts of the day.
